I finished Eclipse last night. Or should I say this morning? Technically, it was 12:45 AM, so yeah, I guess it was today. Once again, I was having anxiety all day yesterday because I couldn't wait to get home and continue reading. My preference for reading when I get in bed has proven to be a problem for me these last few weeks. Reading is supposed to help me fall asleep, not keep me up until all hours of the morning. I've been pretty good about putting the book down by midnight, but when I have to get up at 6:30 AM, it's not conducive to getting enough sleep.
Can I just tell you that I loved this book?! Remember how I told you I was hesitant to read any of these because I had just finished the Southern Vampire Series and I knew there wouldn't be any dirtyness in them? Well yeah, thanks for not telling me... the sexual tension in these books is almost better than getting to read about the deed for real! I love that Bella and Edward are together so much in this one. I don't think I've ever wanted to become a character in a book so badly in my life! From what I've heard, there is more, and better to come...
I got an email from Odum yesterday with the link to a website for Twilight apparel. Apparently I'm not the only one who needs an intervention now! Auri's on board, too. Let's just say I've found a few things to supplement my wardrobe with... Don't judge me!
Forget Princess I Want To Be A Vampire - Maybe a License Plate Frame? If you haven't read the books, this last one won't make much sense, but I think it's cute! One of my other favorites said, "Do that again, and I will so give you a paper cut right in front of Jasper." Again, not one you'd understand until you've read the second book. And being that I'm not a total and complete A-Hole, I won't give anything away!
I'm sorry, but could this man be any hotter/sexier/absolutely effing gorgeous? I didn't think so. I guess they've started shooting New Moon up in Vancouver... or are at least in the very beginning stages. I can't wait to see it. It comes out in November, and then Eclipse is set for release in June of 2010! I will so be in line at midnight for the showings! And I can pretty much guarantee Auri and Odum will be there with me! And in ending, I'd like to quote a tag from one of my favorite bloggers, Tia from Clever Girl Goes Blog, (she's freakin' hilarious, go read her) and say, "Edward Cullen and The Notebook have ruined me for real life!" Mostly just Edward, but you know what I'm sayin'!

BWHAHAHAHA!!! What in the world?!? I've NEVER gotten into 'fictional' characters SO MUCH as I have for the "Twilight" series... I'm HATING book two (but I'm only 150 pages in) -- :) I have to stop reading your updates! I'm going to ruin it for myself!
Happy 33rd to your parents, too! They are ADORABLE! (is it weird that I think it's strange people have been married longer than I've been alive?) oh... just ignore me :)
He is so stunning! And I absolutely adore the second shirt.
Anna - I love the series sooo much! And I won't give away anything, I promise! Just commentary about general stuff. I'm not a spoiler! I'm planning on reading the whole thing again as soon as I'm done!
SB - Yes, he's stunning... I want all the hoodies!
I think it's so funny that I'm obsessed with these books as much as you are now. I've watched the majority of my patients and coworkers reading them forever now and just laughed... I thought, "right, like I'm going to start reading a teen vampire book"... okay, I'm eating my words and proud of it! My husband and I got in a disagreement about it the other day. He didn't think that I was allowed to call them 'good books' because they were fictional... I obviously vehemently disagreed with him on that. I said that as long as I was entertained and could enjoy the characters I was allowed to consider it a good book! I need the shirt that reads "It's a twilight thing, you wouldn't understand."
Long story short... I love the books! I also used to laugh at people that would brag about how quickly they read them... well... let's just say that I've put most of them to shame;)
Hey we all need a blissful escape from reality now and then!
hmm... with the weekend coming up, i figure you have this last book finished by dinnertime sunday. you'll love it.
I am so glad that you "got" Aurs to join in the craziness. I think that we should wear the sweatshirts and tutus for Halloween... What do you think?
Those hoodies are fab!! Get one. Scrap that, get them all!!
You must definitely come to the UK. It's great here! Unfortunately Mr B's one downfall is that he's is rubbish at staying in touch with friends, ha! So there's not much choice of his single friends. Boo.
Have a great weekend xx
Love the hoodie thats says a sparkly man says I smell good :)
Keep looking out for the southern vampire series but think I need to go to Amazon x
oh boy. Twlight. I am sorry, but I refuse. But I still love you.
Aurs - I'm glad you stood up to Trent and defended our obsession. He has no taste anyway!
Jaime - I plan on finishing it by Sunday night, so I'll let you know what I think!
Noelle - It didn't take much convincing to get Aurs hooked on it. I merely accompanied her to the movie. The rest was all her.
Saskia - I think I WILL get them all. What a great idea. Like I need any more convincing to spend money! And if I ever make it to the UK, you'll be the first to know.
CW - All of those hoodies crack me up! Definitely grab the other series. A lot funnier and less serious, but just as good!
Petra - I totally understand where you're coming from. Why do you think I held out so long? In the meantime, if you have any breech in judgement, just read them. You won't be sorry!
Ok dont hate me i bought Twilight but i have not started reading it yet, so of course i have not seen the movie. I better get to reading. I have to agree no he can not be any hotter, sexier, or absolutely effing gorgeous!!!!
