Have I mentioned how unbelieveably hard it is to be away from E? And have I mentioned how ridiculously alone I feel when I know my friends and loved ones are doing things without me? I feel like such a crybaby bitching all the time, but I fucking hate being cooped up in this hotel room by myself, week after week, night after night. I get so freaking lonely sometimes, I honestly don't know how I make it through the weeks. I don't know what the future is going to bring, but I'm putting it out in the universe and hoping that things will work out in my favor.
In other news, I spent a good amount of time getting my office rearranged and cleared of clutter and it's really starting to take shape. I'm hoping to spend a few more hours in there this weekend and get it finished. I'd really like to paint, but I think I'll hold off on that a while until I have a week or two at home to concentrate on it. In the meantime, if the room can function as an office and crafting space, I'll be happy.
I've really been in a creative mood lately and am excited to spend some time crafting this weekend. I found this project on the Michaels website and want to give it a try. I think it'd make a cute gift for someone special, as well. I really want to get a start on the frame project I wrote about two weeks ago, in addition to a few other things. I've spent a bit of money on new yarn in the last 10 days (I may or may not have gone a little crazy) and can't wait to put it all to use!
I mentioned starting an ugly afghan in one of my last posts and I'm happy to report that I FINALLY figured out how to crochet a granny square. I've made four so far and have about 96 to go! The next challenge will be figuring out how to join them all together. This is a picture of my latest square. It's not perfect, but that's kind of the point... ugly and imperfect gives it more character, right? This is the link to the instructions that I used if you're interested. I saw this cute idea on someone's blog about a month ago and wanted to try it out. I found a coat rack/hook and spray painted it bright green... it was cream to begin with and my walls are white, so it would have looked out of place. After I finally got it hung on the wall, I hung all my re-useable totes up on it and have a fun little display in my room! I would have hung it downstairs, but figured my bro might not like it.
For those of you who don't know, I'm a big True Blood fan... and I absolutely can't wait until the new season starts at the end of the month. This is the latest promo poster and it's super hot! I can't wait to see if Season 4 sticks to the book... that means there will be lots of Eric in it... and hopefully naked!

That's also him in the above picture. He used to be so sweet. Now he's just a devious little shit! I guess that's true of all children, though. I still love him, though!

Continuing with the TV theme, my other favorite show, Entourage, premieres in a week and a half. Woo hoo! I've got a date with Vince, Eric, Turtle and Drama that night, so don't bother trying to contact me. I'll be busy. Those boys make me hot!
For my fellow Christina Aguilera fans out there, I purchased her new album last week and am liking it pretty well. There are a few songs that make me say, huh? And there are others that I absolutley love! But I guess that's the norm with most albums, right? If you haven't heard it yet, I'd definitely recommend giving it a listen to. 
I also bought Taio Cruz's new album and have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I was kind of expecting it to be a lot of rap and songs that didn't speak to me, but it's not that way at all. I was a bit turned off by the fact that he's got a song on there he does with Ke$ha, but it's actually really fun. I can't remember what it's called, but it is Track 3 and it's dirrrty! Love it!
If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time, you'll know that I'm in love with the Black Dagger Brotherhood. J. R. Ward's most recent addition to the series is called Lover Mine and I finished it about two weeks ago. This one is about John Matthew and Xhex (if you are wondering what the hell I'm talking about, I don't blame you) and I really enjoyed it. I had a hard time finishing it knowing that I have to wait another year for the next book to come out. If you're a BDB fan and haven't read the 8th book yet, go get it. You won't be sorry!
I've been puppy-sitting since Saturday afternoon and I'm starting to lose my effing mind. I've never spent this much time in my house without being deathly ill. She got her ears "done" last Thursday and has to be under constant observation. Her brother got his ears done too, so they have to be separated until they heal. Personally, I think my brother should have taken the week off to be with her. I told him I'd help him out... I realize now I didn't know how involved "helping him out" would be! That's her in her sad little cone... don't get mad at me... it wasn't my idea!
Have you ever had an adjoining room in a hotel and didn't know who was on the other side? And during your stay, did you constantly want to knock on that door?
I'm watching Glee. I'm not sure I get what all the fuss is about, but this episode is pretty good so far. I guess I'll have to go back and watch the first few episodes. Someone needs to explain the pregnant chick to me. And the hot football dude. Although he seems like a douche.
I need sex in the absolute worst way. I'm on the verge of tears... seriously.
What the hell is Chow (from True Blood) doing on Glee? He's a vampire. Duh. The guy above isn't Chow, but he's supposed to be on TB next season. Yum!
Looking at pictures of hot men is about the only thing getting me through at this point. If you saw my blog from yesterday, you know what happened. If you didn't, go back and read it because I don't feel like reliving the nightmare! I have some work to do on a huge spreadsheet this afternoon, and I actually have a place to sit and work with internet. The only problem is there's a glitch with the document, so I'm waiting for a coworker to fix it for me. I'm blogging in the meantime. This isn't very random. 
In other news, I can't wait for New Moon. I think the countdown is around 55 days or something. Jessica and I were making bets as to how much money we thought we'd be spending over the course of that following week seeing the movie over and over again. I'm guessing upwards of $100. We're crazy. We know. All my friends and I have tickets to see the show already. I can't believe it, either.
By the way, did I mention in my post last night that while I was waiting for my luggage, I started hallucinating? Yeah, the floor was moving in waves. Don't ask cuz I don't know. 
So anyway, I'm down to less than 30 days until my house is completed. That means we close shortly thereafter and I'm so excited. Too bad I'll be spending so much time in Alabama and won't get to enjoy it enough! I've got a lot of stuff for the house already. The last two major things I need are silverware and blinds or curtains. At this point, it all seems surreal. Very weird.
Have I mentioned I miss True Blood? I wanted to die on Sunday when it wasn't on. It's sooo not fair! At least Entourage was on... and it was a great episode. Can I just tell you how much I love 
The Emmys were on Sunday night and there were some gorgeous dresses on the red carpet. Did y'all see Blake Lively? I thought she looked fab... and figured this would be a good place to insert a hottie for the boys. I hope you like... I think she's adorable and I like the movies I've seen her in. Not Oscar-quality acting, but kind of your every-day girl. She seems like a very chill and down-to-earth kind of person.
