I Can't Believe We Just Did That!

Noelle and I have been talking about going to San Diego at the end of May to see Maddie cross the finish line in her first marathon. Mind you, this is less than a week after we get back from San Fran. We were at Diva's today and looking around for prices on flights. We ended up finding a great deal where it is going to cost each of us less than $300 for flight, two nights hotel, and two days for car rental. Can you believe it? We couldn't either, so we booked it. We looked at each other after it was all done and said, "I can't believe we just did that!" Yeah, I know, we're crazy. But seriously... $300 for a weekend in San Diego. You can't beat it! Now, I have to tell you that San Diego is one of my most favorite places in the world. I don't even know how many times I've been there, but for a while, it was at least once per year. I haven't been since 2006 and I kind of forgot how much I love it. After looking for a few pics online, I was instantly taken back to the beach and the city, and remembered how much I miss it! Now I have an upcoming trip to look forward to. Granted, we'll only have about 48 hours in the city, but we'll make it worth it!I know San Diego like my own backyard, and I can't wait to take Noelle all over the place. We'll definitely be going to Kono's for breakfast one morning, and somewhere yummy for dinner in the Gas Lamp District! The boardwalk along Mission and Pacific Beach will definitely be on our list of stops as well. I absolutely cannot wait!
