I feel like a loser. The last two days, I've come home from work, climbed in bed, attempted to watch Twilight, and fell asleep. Now, the point of coming home and getting in bed was to take a nap, but I feel like a shlub. I haven't done anything of importance in the last 28 hours. I can say I'm feeling better and think this cold that's trying to take me down isn't going to be too successful... but you never know. Last time I had a cold like this, it lasted for six weeks and turned into pneumonia and kicked my ass. I don't have the time to be down with that shit again. Well, I'm in sessions again all day tomorrow at work. I'm so not looking forward to it! Hopefully we'll finish early and I'll have time to write something fabulous... a few things on the agenda include: my nose blowing, the term "meadowesque", Britt & Paul's wedding, etc. I'll get to it all very soon. Oh, and I think I should get one of those new cars from India called the Tata Nano. Because I'm Tata. In case you forgot.
P.S. I'm watching the news and a story just came on about a 2-year-old pool prodigy in New York. This little cutie plays pool on a mini table and he could kick any adult's ass who challenges him. You have to look him up online.... so adorable!

I sometimes come home from work and get straight into my pjs and settle down on the sofa or bed for the evening! It's wonderful, though I do feel sorry for Mr B who may go for days not seeing me looking 'dressed'! x
Glad to hear you are feeling better. Often I come home from a day shift and try to have a 30 minute-1hour nap, so that I can actually sleep when it's time to go to bed. The nap ends up being 2 hours.
Your room looks nice and cozy!
i wish i could crawl back into bed and sleep until this nasty cold goes away.
Hope you feel all better soon. 6 weeks of being sick? Totally unacceptable.
there is totally nothing wrong with putting on pajamas and crawling into bed!
It's like one of the things that I look forward to most in the day :)
I thought the same thing about the Tata Nano!! I saw it and thought of you! :)
Saskia - That's the great thing about being married - your husband promises to love you no matter what you have on!
SB - Yeah, my naps are rarely less than 2 hours. I always get made fun of, but I love to sleep!
Jaime - What is it with these lame ass colds this year?
Brooke - I'm just praying this is over before another 6 weeks. I can't deal with being sick like that again.
KL - I've decided my least favorite part in the day is getting out of bed, and my favorite part is getting into it!
Ang - Maybe my next car will be a Tata. It would be so fitting!
I love your bed too!! It's divine. And I think it's laced with Ambien... (perhaps you sweat it out)?? Because every time I get near it I fall asleep.
