Meadow-esque

Auri told me I could call her my muse. And there are two reasons as to why, but I can't seem to remember the first one. Oh, wait, it just came to me. I'm special, I know. Being that she's my HLP we spend a considerable amount of time together. Although, not so much lately because of her effing migraines. Moving on... Occasionally when we're hanging out, we'll have moments of temporary insanity where either one or both of us flies into fits of giggles and silliness. During many of these fits we have come up with some funny shit, a lot of which we still refer to on a daily basis. And most of the time, if we try to explain it to someone later, it turns out to be one of those "had to be there" types of things.

Anyway... let me attempt to explain a couple of them to you. She and I were IMing on our CrackBerrys the other day (because we're cool like that - we don't need to talk on the phone, we just IM each other all day long). I think she was telling me which part of Twilight she was on... no wait, I was telling her that I was stuck in meetings all day. She asked if it was totally rad/awesome/tubular, I said no, none of the above (I have no idea why she was having '80s vocabulary flashbacks). She then asked if it was "meadow-esque" (think Twilight) and I told her I was using that in one of my next blog posts. It was at that point she told me I can call her my muse. Apparently she gives me lots of blog post ideas? So, whenever something is beyond fabulous, you can call it "meadow-esque." Actually, no you can't. It's mine.

As for the second explanation: A few months back we were talking about someone I was dating (or thought I was dating - apparently I was confused - or maybe we are dating and I'm just not aware of that fact). We were having one of those giggle fits while discussing the situation and she burst out with, "You can't handle my java," in relation to this dude. I proceeded to use the line quite a bit over the next little bit, and then she informed me that I stole it. I wasn't aware she had laid claim to it. Apparently it belongs to her. So don't use it. Or use it and don't tell her. Or tell her you used it and let her get mad at you, too! Ha!

Well, for not having anything to write about today, I think I did pretty well for myself. I hope it made you giggle. If not, I'll make sure we come up with some more funny shit!

P.S. I'm trying REALLY hard not to post Twilight shit everyday, but it's not easy, because clearly, I'm obsessed. So, I may post a hot picture (as I did today), and then tell a totally unrelated story. Or a story with only a minimal mention of the obsesh. But I'm trying to diversify, seriously. I promise!

First of all... they can't use 'meadow-esque' because it's MINE, not 'yours' as previously mentioned. Second... thank you for finally letting them know that "you can't handle my java" is mine. Finally. Third...I won't get mad at any of you as long as you cite the aforementioned brilliance and here on out refer to me as 'Goddess Muse'...
Oh yes... and no need to come up with your own funny shit... just steal some more of mine;)
Oh yah... don't resist the obsesh. In the closet is so 80's. And the only cool things to come from the 80's (other than moi)is the lingo and the music... (no not the clothes you freaks!)
(btw... in case you don't know me I'm being completely sarcastic... kind of)
