TV, CDs and Books, Oh My!

Season 3 of True Blood premiered on HBO Sunday night. Auri, Jessica and Noelle came over for a little partay. It turned out not to be much of a party, and just a bunch of girls sitting around watching TV together. We had fun in spite of the party-less atmosphere. As for the show itself, I think I was expecting a lot more from the first episode. Maybe it's because I've waited sooo long for Season 3, or maybe just because I expected to have the whole season wrapped up in one hour... I don't know. Don't get me wrong, it was good. Especially seeing Eric's naked tush. I could take some of that in every episode and be totally fine with it! I can't wait for Sunday night to watch episode 2. I wonder when Alcide is going to be introduced?Continuing with the TV theme, my other favorite show, Entourage, premieres in a week and a half. Woo hoo! I've got a date with Vince, Eric, Turtle and Drama that night, so don't bother trying to contact me. I'll be busy. Those boys make me hot!For my fellow Christina Aguilera fans out there, I purchased her new album last week and am liking it pretty well. There are a few songs that make me say, huh? And there are others that I absolutley love! But I guess that's the norm with most albums, right? If you haven't heard it yet, I'd definitely recommend giving it a listen to. I also bought Taio Cruz's new album and have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I was kind of expecting it to be a lot of rap and songs that didn't speak to me, but it's not that way at all. I was a bit turned off by the fact that he's got a song on there he does with Ke$ha, but it's actually really fun. I can't remember what it's called, but it is Track 3 and it's dirrrty! Love it!If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time, you'll know that I'm in love with the Black Dagger Brotherhood. J. R. Ward's most recent addition to the series is called Lover Mine and I finished it about two weeks ago. This one is about John Matthew and Xhex (if you are wondering what the hell I'm talking about, I don't blame you) and I really enjoyed it. I had a hard time finishing it knowing that I have to wait another year for the next book to come out. If you're a BDB fan and haven't read the 8th book yet, go get it. You won't be sorry!

Random Tuesdayness - Um... Yeah

It's Tuesday... apparently I missed a week in there somewhere... actually, I know I missed RTT last week and I felt horribly guilty for it, but I'm back now, I think. If you want to play, go talk to Keely.Well hey kids, how the hell have y'all been? Sorry for my sabbatical. Colon troubles can really cause a lot of problems, let me be the first to tell ya. And seriously, if you need a colonoscopy, don't put it off. It's not bad at all. The actual procedure, that is. The worst part is the fact that you have to stay near a toilet for 24 hours and may or may not end up nauseous for the duration of the evacuation process. And if you have to get on a plane during any of that time, I seriously advise against it. IT'S NOT FUN!

I bought blinds for the house yesterday. That's one thing you don't realize you have to worry about when you move into a brand new house. I got 6 blinds and have 2 or 3 left to buy. I'm already over $250 into it! I also got all the stuff for Zak's bathroom. I hope he likes it. If not, tough shit!
I went to see A Chorus Line with my grandma on Friday night at Pioneer Theater on the University of Utah campus. All the performers did a great job... I was only slightly disappointed by the dancing... I guess my expectations have been set high with SYTYCD, but we had a good time.

I'm back in Alabama this week and I don't really want to be here. At least I didn't get delayed on my way here. Now let's pray all of my flights back work as well.
Did anyone see Entourage on Sunday? Holy hell! I can't believe it. I won't give anything away because Auri hasn't seen it, and I'm sure there are a ton of others who haven't either. I like that there weren't any MAJOR cliffhangers and that a lot of questions got answered... but I'm still in shock!

What else.... closing on the house next week. I'm kind of freaking out... a lot. I haven't moved in 15 years and I have a feeling I'm going to have a bit of an ongoing panic attack for the next month.I gotta cut this short... It's midnight here and I need to get to bed. Have to be up in 6 hours, which is like starting at 5 AM my time. I'll be a good blogger this week and be back to entertain you. Maybe even a vlog!

Oh, and I finished Breaking Dawn for the 2nd time last night. I had forgotten so many of the little things. I love that about reading a book again... picking up all the things I missed before, or forgot about. I also just finished The Goddess Rules by Clare Naylor. Such a cute book. I love Clare Naylor and this book didn't disappoint at all. I definitely recommend it!

Random Tuesdayness - The One Where I've Been on a Massive Hiatus

Wow... I can't believe my lack of blogging the last week and a half. It's kind of scaring me. The sad thing is, I'm not going to have much time to do much blogging in the next couple of days, either. This blows! Anyway, it's Tuesday, so go grab Keely's button at The UnMom and play along with Random Tuesday Thoughts. It's fun. I promise.

I had a dream I was a vampire on Sunday night. Rosalie was in it and everything. Then at one point I was topless. It was kind of disturbing. Sadly, I didn't get my True Blood fix this week. The show took a little breather (aka, trying to kill me with anticipation) over the Labor Day weekend. The season finale is next Sunday!

I'll be traveling to Alabama tomorrow and then every week for the rest of the month. If anyone knows any great blogs written by any Alabamians, let me know.

I still have to post about Candace's trip here two weeks ago. We had such a good time, and I have some really great pics to share... I need to get around to it. I would have done it today, but it's Tuesday, and there are rules around here. Entourage was also taking a breather this week. What the hell man? Because some people may go out of town on a holiday weekend, the rest of us losers who have to stay home have to suffer and not get to see our shows?! WTF?!

Packing for the move is giving me anxiety. I've only had to pack all my shit and move once in my life. This is weird.

I bought a bunch of stuff for the house over the weekend, including a fridge yesterday morning. We got up at the ass crack of dawn to stand in line at RC Willey to get a good deal. I guess that makes lack of sleep worth it!

I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THIS MOVIE COMES OUT!!!

My travel schedule for the next two weeks is God-Awful. I'm not looking forward to it. Let's just say I'm going to be spending A LOT of time in airports for the next little bit. Not my idea of a good time, to say the least.

Random Tuesdayness - I'm Still Waiting...

Hey, guess what?! It's Tuesday (well, actually it's Monday, but let's pretend), and thus is time for a Random Tuesday Thoughts post. Keely started this, got me addicted, and now she's gonna have to pay for my rehab. Go check her out.

I would like to state for the record that I'm starting this post on Monday afternoon in hopes of having it up early enough on Tuesday to not feel like a loser. (And now it's officially Tuesday and I'm still not done...)

I'd really like to be posting to tell you they've accepted my offer on the house, but the truth is, I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM THEM AND I'M LOSING MY EFFING MIND!!! It's already almost 3 PM, so the news has to be coming soon.

And now it's Tuesday, and still no answer....

I just remembered I need to do a post for my favorite toy... remember, it'll be posted over on Auri's blog, so check her out in the meantime. I'll let you know when it's up... no double entendre intended. Yeah, right.

True Blood on Sunday was amazing! I think I say that every week, now. Seriously, I can't get over Eric and all of his sexiness. He's hot. Don't argue with me. I want him... but you already know that.

I'm listening to I Gotta Feelin' by the Black Eyed Peas trying to induce good vibes. The chorus is "Tonight's gonna be a good night..." and I'm willing that to happen. Jesus! The anxiety is going to either kill me or give me a major ulcer!

Update: Today is Alexander Skarsgard's birthday! Happy birthday Hottie Man!

I'd like to mention that I bought Auri the first Sookie book for her birthday, she read it in a day or so, and now she's hooked. I took the Season 1 DVDs over to her and she stayed up until 5:45 Sunday morning watching the episodes. I think she got through all 12 in less than 24 hours. The girl is crazy! Plus she has 3 kids!

Auri, Otin & Mr. Condescending are currently battling for a spot in my guest room (provided I get the house). Maybe we should do some little online competition for it or something. Any suggestions?

I've been listening to a lot of Rise Against the last few days. I was thinking it's funny that they're one of my favorite bands, yet I don't know a lot about them. I should check them out. Maybe I'll do a post on them later. Anything to keep my mind off things!

Finished reading Secret Diary of a Call Girl. I think I'm giving it 3.5 out of 5 stars. I thought it would be a little racier. But it was good. Got mundane in a few parts. Otherwise, worth the read if you want to know all about being a call girl!

Entourage was great on Sunday. Did any of you see it? I feel bad for Drama, but I love how neurotic he is. Speaking of Entourage, I thought I'd pose a question. Have you ever had someone steal your panties/boxers, etc.? Leave it in the comments.

Only 86 days until New Moon comes out. I cannot wait! I watched Twilight on Sunday... it had been a while. Doesn't this picture just make you crave more? OMG, I can't wait!!!

Thursday Night Ramblings

According to the news tonight, the US is going to face a sugar shortage soon. Brazil is currently using half of its sugar supply to manufacture an alternative fuel. I'm glad this was on the news.

I got a Thin Mint Blizzard from Dairy Queen tonight and it's not very good. Therefore I didn't eat it. I'm really sick of blowing my nose. I've officially emptied out one large box of Kleenexes. I've got two more that I'm working on. I need one of those tissue holders.

True Blood on Sunday rocked. And I'm left with another effing cliffhanger for three more days. Come on people... I can't take waiting!

Robin Williams is on Conan right now. He had a heart valve replaced and said he got really emotional afterward. His thought was, "Maybe they didn't give me a valve. They gave me a tiny vagina."

About 20 minutes ago my mom said to the dog, "Why don't you rub my belly? My hand is tired." And yes, that's really how she sleeps.

I went to Target to buy chocolate and deodorant. They didn't have my chocolate, but they had my deodorant. I got home, my deodorant was no where to be found.... but I paid for it. Lame.

I have two more weeks on the Utah project. After that I will be assigned to another project in another state. Options thus far for states I might be assigned to: Alabama, Mississippi, Wisconsin. I know no one in any of these places.

My mom is asleep on the couch. The dog is asleep on the floor. She (the dog) is having a dream... paws are moving and little growls are coming out of her. Kind of cute.

How can you not love Ari Gold and Lloyd? Seriously? Let's hug it out, bitches.

I would like to state for the record, that I just sneezed three times and blew my nose really hard and it made me dizzy.

This is officially the lamest post I've ever done. Wow. I think it's time for bed.
