Admittedly, I'm a Makeup Whore!

Ok girls, this one is for Brooke! She tagged me to do the purse post, but since I already did it, I thought I'd show you my makeup collection. Plus, my train case needed to be cleaned in the worst way, so everything fell into place!Comments on amount or cost will not be tolerated, so don't even go there! Yes, I'm a makeup whore. Yes I own a ton of makeup. Yes, I have a problem. The first step is to admit it. I've taken the first step. So, yeah, that's mostly all of it in its entirety. Pencils, eye shadow, blush, powder, foundation, bronzer, hightlighter, sparkle, pigments, supplies, brushes, lipstick, lip gloss, eye lashes, glue, mascara, lash curler, moisturizer, eye cream, etc. I was going to count my eye shadows but forgot. The stuff I use every day is down in the bottom left-hand corner here. Not all of it, but some of it. Most of what I own is MAC. I also own some Benefit, Nars, Too Faced and drug store brands (just mascara). I hate MAC mascara and my favorite is L'oreal Voluminous. I recently got Maybelline's Lash Stilleto and I really like it. I also like the Cover Girl's Lash Blast Luxe that comes in sparkly colors. Don't love the brush, but like the sparkles! This is the train case after it has been emptied out and wiped down. It was REALLY dirty. Kind of embarrassing to take a dirty train case to do makeup, ya know!? And this is the train case after it was cleaned out and re-organized. Now I can find my colors. Although, I have so much crap I could use a second one... like the cute, pink, crocodile one from Sephora. Maybe I'll save some money and buy one when I go to San Fran.... something to ponder....Last but not least, here are my brushes... there are a few missing, but you get the idea, right? And they're dirty. I ran out of energy tonight so I'll have to clean them tomorrow (or tonight, seeing as how it's 12:30 AM). They need to be clean and ready to go for Brittany's wedding on Saturday!!! Well, there you have it... my makeup collection, in all its glory. Yes a few pieces are missing, but you probably wouldn't even notice if they were in the pictures anyway! Let the commenting begin! Oh, and does anyone have any idea about insuring it all?

So, while I'm writing this I'm watching Craig Ferguson (who I love). He said he was going to simulate a shark attack on network television. He has a little plastic shark and he just chucked it at the camera. I'm laughing my ass off.

Wow! Lots of MAC stuff. I love MAC eyeshadows and their studio fix. Studio fix is my staple! Do you really hate MAC mascara? I have the Zoom lash and I love the brush on it. Ok...what do you do with pigments? (that's how makeup stupid I am).

oooo playtime... I love makeup and go through phases.
Recently it is the lipgloss, bronzer and mascara lazy phase.
Today it's just chapstick...and I have left the house (hope no-one saw me ha ha).

Wowzer!!! That's a lot of makeup!! I would LOVE to have a collection like that. How much do you take when you go away on holiday?

Have you tried Dior Show mascara? It's my current fave. I also like benefit's mascara.

Being a man I cannot relate… but I am impressed as to the variety of items you have. Reminds me of when I was in high school and always wanted different colors and styles of shirts and pants to wear (I never could afford my wardrobe, nor could I ever find a particular color).

Thanks for stopping by and for following— you're now on my followers list.

I'm just in awe right now. I wish I had the talent and the knowledge of makeup to justify having a collection like this. I wish I could take you shopping with me so I could get your help picking out makeup.

Erica, I love it! I too use nearly all MAC, with the exception of their mascara. I despise it as well. I love that you have so many colors and you change it up. I use the same stuff everyday and I almost never vary my eyeshadow/lipstick colors. I am boring!

I just consider myself lucky that you decided to play makeup barbie with me every now and then. It always looks better when you do it anyway... and as for the others... I left the house with a clean face and chapstick this morning! So no worries (and I'm at work!)
The case looks fab

Have you ever heard of Make-Up Anonymous?
"Hello, my name is Erica, and I'm wearing two shades of lipgloss today!" :D
And I have been looking at eBay for the perfect traincase. Any suggestions?
Have a great weekend!
Time for me to wash my face and put on my blue eyeliner!

SB - Yeah, I hate their mascara, but I think their Zoom Lash is the only one I can stand. I like it because of the huge brush! As for pigments, they're just like the shadows, but in loose powder form. Very cool, although I don't use mine that much.

CW - I'm in the minimalistic phase Monday thru Friday. I just can't seem to get up early enough to do my whole face! I'm sure you look gorgeous no matter what you have on... especially with your new 'glow.'

Saskia - I love Diorshow mascara. I go thru so much though, I can't justify spending so much on it so often. When I go on holiday/vacation I usually just take my palettes with me, then the everyday stuff. That way I have a lot of color to choose from and I don't have to lug too much all over the place!

CaJoh - Yes, I love my options. If I'm feeling especially creative, I'll match my eyeshadow to the colors in my outfit. I know I have issues!

Brooke - We can definitely go shopping if we're ever in the same place at the same time!

Elisha - I say, if you find something that works and that you love, stick with it. I just have so much, I have to justify it by wearing all of it!

Jaime - Are you crazy? Going to Vegas in August? You're going to roast to death. But I could very easily be persuaded to join you... ha ha ha! It's only a 6 hour drive from Salt Lake!

Aurs - When does your dad want to do another shoot? I always love doing your makeup because I know your face as well as my own!

Cagny - The train cases at Sephora are great. That's where mine is from. I don't really know much about any others. And yes, I could definitely use some MACaholics anonymous!
