OMG, I've Got a Date Tonight

Ok kids... big news. I have a date tonight. Not an actual date, but a coffee date. Last time I started off on coffee, it never progressed beyond coffee, so I'm hoping this time won't be the same. Remember how I was bitching the other day that I had no hits on either online dating site I signed up for? Well on Saturday night I had two guys make contact. One was a guy I was matched up with on Chemistry.com. I had sent him an e-mail and he responded to it. The other one was a guy who sent me a wink. I was so excited I immediately sent him an e-mail. I'm desperate, remember?

Let's call the first guy S and the 2nd guy J. S and I sent a few e-mails back and forth over the weekend. I IMd him yesterday and we chatted for a while and I gave him my number. I haven't heard from him yet.

I got an e-mail from J yesterday with his phone number asking me to text him. So I did. We chatted for a while yesterday then I didn't hear from him for the rest of the day. Well guess who decided it would be a good idea to text me at 6:17 AM because he was thinking of me?! Yeah. 6:17 AM. Does no one know that I enjoy my sleep? Unless I'm in bed with you or there's an emergency, there is NO reason to wake me up that effing early. It didn't piss me off too horribly because we've been texting all day. And we're meeting for coffee tonight!

So wish me luck. Send out good vibes to the universe. I need it. Plus the dude is waaay hot. So that helps a lot. I think that's why I'm so nervous. The last few guys I've gone out with haven't been that good looking! I know, I'm a bitch. Oh well. Maybe that's why I'm single. I'll have a full report on the evening for y'all tomorrow.

And P.S. my *prize* arrived at Auri's house, so at the very least, I'll swing over there to pick it up and keep myself company for the evening! Ha!
