Are You Ready? Right Now?

I really, really, really hate to say this about my little man, but I have to. He gets this look when he smiles really hard and scrunches up his face... he looks like Gilbert Gottfried. I know, I'm rude. I'm horrible for thinking it. But Auri agrees with me, so you can't blame me entirely! The above picture is the closest one I have because he never holds the look long enough for me to get a picture. And the quality isn't that great because it was taken with my phone. But can you see what I mean? I know, I'm a mean Tata.
The kid cracks me up. Everything that he does and says makes me laugh. I met Auri, her mom, and the kids at Tarjay on Monday, and Aidan wanted to come sit in my shopping basket. Sure, no problem. I guess he decided he wanted to lounge because he layed down in the sitting area and tried to stretch out. The kid is "yuttle" but not that "yuttle" and he didn't exactly fit. He squirmed around for a while trying to get comfy. So to make his shopping experience much more comfortable, I put my arm behind his head for him to lie on. See, I redeemed myself as Tata. Aren't I nice? He's always making sly little faces like that. He reels you in with his charm and cuteness and then he feels he's free to unleash the beast. He tried body-slamming me last night! All 30 pounds of him! I think that's where Taryn learned it from. Although, she's always been able to hold her own, so who knows.

This picture doesn't really have anything to do with anything, it just makes me laugh. Especially the look on my face. Anyway, I was over at Auri's last night... she offered to feed me pasta with her home made sauce. I'm so not turning that down! And I'm glad I didn't because it was delish. We sat around after I ate (they ate before I got there) and played with the kids. Tristan and Aidan kept wanting to look things up online... Werewolves, Beetles (although I first typed in Beatles - duh, I know), Spiders (Tristan promised to cover my eyes for me), and Vampires. I kept trying to show them pictures of RPattz, but they weren't having it. After our searching was done, Auri was tickling Aidan and trying to "bite" his neck. She recited the line from the end of Twilight where Edward asks Bella if she's ready to be turned into a vampire. It was hilarious, but you probably had to be there to enjoy it as much as I did. In turn, Aidan came over and kept trying to "bite" my neck. He succeeded in tickling me, so I'm gonna have to get him back. It was cute and I loved it! (I think it's funny the kids love to watch Twilight. Taryn calls it Twiwite - so cute.)
In parting, I'd like to share this picture with you of the Fashionista, herself! Girls, we all better run out and buy the makings for this outfit, unless you already own the pieces. I can see it becoming very popular in the clubs. We can say we were the first to wear it! It'll be totally hot!

SB - I know, they're freakin' adorable. Except when they're being shit heads... which is quite often now that they're older! The look on my face was totally unintentional, but I'm so glad it was caught on film!

what cute kids!

interesting fashion trend she's trying to start there. i always thought people should show off their undies in public with their boots. not that anyone would want to check out MY ass in that ensemble...

I would like you to know that I wore that to the PTA meeting last night. It was a big hit.

Ah, who are we kidding, I am not on the PTA!

Noelle - The tutu would totally complete the outfit! Good idea!

Jaime - I'm sure your ass would look fab in that!

Petra - That would have been awesome if you did wear it! I'm so disappointed!

My kids are kinda funny... I blame it on my parents=) Although I think I might be slightly to blame for the fashion thing... ask erica... I might have attempted to show off that much of my ass at some point in my life... just not at a PTA meeting... and yes I'm a member... and no I've never gone to a meeting (I know! bad!)
