Hey kids! Here's the deal... if you live in Salt Lake and enjoy a good drink, I better be seeing your asses on July 1st. Why July 1st, you ask? It's because that is the day that the Private Club law goes out the door. And City Weekly is throwing one huge ass party in the form of a Pub Crawl... in fact, the biggest one in Salt Lake's history. Why: Why the hell not?!
City Weekly is hosting the party... They have rented Le Bus, and not just one, but six (6), yes SIX of them that will form a "transit system" and will run in 30 minute intervals between all the bars. That way we (you and I) may experience as many bars as possible without having to worry about transportation, or pay money to get in the door! And better yet... at the end of the night, City Weekly will also foot the bill for your cab rides home! Yes, you heard me correctly...
No more private club membership dues required
No cost to ride Le Bus to and from all the bars
No cost for a cab to take our drunk asses home at the end of the evening
I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the death of the dumbest law in existence, and to check out all the bars we've been wanting to see. Too bad the drinks aren't free...

Yeah! I do believe that the 2nd of July just became a day off for me! I told my supervisor that I would not be coming in on that day... she understands that I will be hung over, or too tired! She may join us!
