Y'all are getting another totally random post today cuz I've got a lot of crap on my mind. Actually, it's more that I have a lot of small items to mention that won't require an entire post, so I'll throw them all together instead.
Yesterday was a totally crazy day... I had to make a list of everything I needed to accomplish because I couldn't remember it all... And I had to make sure it all got done. I am happy to report that I was able to cross them all off the list! Here it is:
*Mop the floor *Conference call *Return Dad's gift *Exchange faulty hair products *Refill prescriptions *Work *House hunt with Cathy *Work out *Buy Proactiv
I started mopping the floor at 8 PM and finished by 8:30, then had to dash out of the house to make it to the mall in time before it closed (the Proactiv kiosk is at the mall). I couldn't go another night without some semblance of hope for my naughty skin. It's seriously disgusting. I bought the starter pack of Proactiv and got the oil-free moisturizer with it. I seriously wanted to go straight home to wash my face and start my skin regimen but had to go to the gym first. I can honestly say that my skin feels really soft this morning. It hasn't cleared up, but that's not going to happen overnight. I think it even looked a little brighter and smoother after I did the mask and everything last night. It could also be the placebo effect, I guess I'll never know. I'll let you know how things shape up over the next few weeks.Hmmm... what else? It's really irritating to me that I have like 900 gazillion things I want to mention, and when I sit down to write... nothing. It's so annoying! So I've started writing things down, but the stuff I have is for more significant posts and the stuff I was originally thinking about is much less exciting. One-liners, really.
Oh, now I remember... I went to see The Hangover with Auri on Tuesday night. Oh. My. Hell! Tigers, chickens, naked Asian men, Roofies and a whole slew of other crap and you've got yourself a fantastically hilarious movie! We actually missed the first 10 or 15 minutes so I'll have to go see it again. Also due to the fact that I missed a lot of the dialogue because I was laughing so hard. Anyone? Anyone? By the way, does the dude on the left remind anyone of the picture of Auri the morning we went for brunch at the Bellagio?

SYTYCD was on last night and I went home and watched the TiVo'd version after the gym. I skipped most of the judges commentary, but since my friend Candace said Toni Basil sucked (one of the judges) I didn't feel too bad skipping it. Plus it was late and I didn't have excess amounts of time to watch all of the gratuitous fluff. I think my favorite dance of the night was Randi and Evan's Mia Michaels' Butt Dance. Like the judges said, only Mia can take something so insignificant (like a tushie) and turn it into a number that everyone will talk about for weeks! I can't find the video of it for you, but check it out if you can find it! Or come over and watch it on my TiVo!I have to make dinner tonight and have no idea what to make. I'll be using chicken... any chicken recipes? I need them sooner than later!
I've only made it to the gym once this week, but am planning on going tonight and possibly tomorrow. I took a book with me last night and the bike ride went by surprisingly fast. I've got a lot of books I want to read this summer, so I think I'll kill two birds with one stone. Read and work out. Good plan! I'm currently in the middle of Eclipse (for the 2nd time) and Secret Diary of a Call Girl. I bought one of Jillian Michaels' books last year and have yet to read it. I'm adding that to my list as well. Guess I better find it first. I'll let you know how it is. By the way, I really want to go see Transformers 2. Anyone care to join me in the next few days? I'm in movie mode right now... I'm not sure why. And why the hell is it so damn expensive to go to a movie... sheesh!
I went house hunting with my realtor and my dad yesterday. We only saw two places and neither of them were totally great. However, we did end up going back to look at the townhomes I looked at a few months ago in South Jordan. They're way over my budget but in a really great location. My dad is going to help me with a down payment, and if we can combine that with all of the tax credits and possible grants, I might be able to make it work. I still think I'd rather go with something a bit less expensive and work from there. That way my parents won't have to help me with as much down and my payments will be lower. I might go back out to look at Daybreak. Who knows... house hunting is so frustrating!
Ok, that's enough bitching for now. Gotta head out... I've got a doc appointment and then I'm going to sit at the pool for an hour with Noelle! After that, it's work work work, and mabye some more blogging!

Omg! The Hangover was absolutely hilarious! It is is definitely different from the comedies of today, like a fresh of breath air. I reccomend it to everyone!
We were cracking up over The Hangover last night at work... I love that movie! I didn't realize that's why he reminded you of me... I thought it was because of the baby Bjorn... OIC...

Just a girl - I just heard about the Neutrogena thing today on tv. The Proactiv seems to be working well so far.
Brittany - I'm glad you enjoyed it too!
Aurs - The baby Bjorn thing works too, but the leaning against the wall with the glasses on looked like you the morning after our first night in Vegas.
