The trip to San Francisco was cold and rainy. The trip to San Diego was also rainy, but not so cold. Ever since we returned from San Diego, it hasn't stopped raining. Here are some pictures of the park across the street from my house. Keep in mind the park was designed to act as a retention pond in the event of heavy rain and flooding, but holy hell, I've never seen it that full in the 29 years I've lived in this neighborhood! It usually drains after a short while. This time, it was flooded on multiple days for most of the day!
That sign says "Park Closed; No Swimming: Health Hazard, Drowning Hazard" - Not the pool, the park!
The yellow thing on the far right is a Sandy City Worker standing in the pond. The water was up to his waist.
Finally, this week the weather has finally shaped up. The park is all dried out!
And this is a shot of my sunny backyard this afternoon!

We had a month like that here earlier this year - so many roads and fields were flooded... I've never seen anything like it!! I'm glad it's brightened up for you now though.
