I was going to title this one "Utah Weather" but this is weird, even for Utah!

The trip to San Francisco was cold and rainy. The trip to San Diego was also rainy, but not so cold. Ever since we returned from San Diego, it hasn't stopped raining. Here are some pictures of the park across the street from my house. Keep in mind the park was designed to act as a retention pond in the event of heavy rain and flooding, but holy hell, I've never seen it that full in the 29 years I've lived in this neighborhood! It usually drains after a short while. This time, it was flooded on multiple days for most of the day! That sign says "Park Closed; No Swimming: Health Hazard, Drowning Hazard" - Not the pool, the park!
This is taken from my front yard looking down into the park. The first pond there is in the parking lot and the pools beyond it are in the grass.
This one is a closer look of the parking lot with water flowing over the sidewalk and down the hill into the grass. I don't know who those people were but their dog was loving it.
Again from the same spot, looking more to the south. The drain on that side was clogged and water was running down the walking path.
The yellow thing on the far right is a Sandy City Worker standing in the pond. The water was up to his waist.

Finally, this week the weather has finally shaped up. The park is all dried out!
And this is a shot of my sunny backyard this afternoon!

We had a month like that here earlier this year - so many roads and fields were flooded... I've never seen anything like it!! I'm glad it's brightened up for you now though.
