These were flying over my house last night! And my house is not on the flight path to the airport! (You can click on the pics to enlarge them)
My first thought was, "Oh shit!" and my second thought was, "What the hell?"
We turned on the radio to find out what was going on and heard it was all part of the Air Force Week Celebration. A little warning would have been nice!
Apparently Utah is one of three states chosen to take part in the celebration. There was one KC135 that was followed by four F16s flying in formation from the Utah National Guard. Totally crazy!
Before I grabbed my camera, I was standing in the backyard with my dad watching them from afar. We heard them getting awfully close and they actually flew directly over my house. It was awesome!
