Tata Is A Snot Factory

On Sunday, Auri and the kiddies picked me up and we went to brunch with the clan (Noelle, Rose, Jen, her new man and her spawn, and Miss Maddie). The food was good and we had a great time getting together. On our way home I was blowing my nose and told the kids that I was a Snot Factory... When Aurs and the crew dropped me off, Aidan informed us that he didn't want to be with his mommy anymore, he wanted to stay with his Tata, forever! He asked if he could be with me, I told him I had to run errands, so he asked me if he could go. Well duh... of course. So, Mr. Aidan and I ran a few errands that afternoon. We went to Costco to get gas and as we were pulling into the parking lot, the LifeFlight helicopter was getting ready to take off. I hurried and parked, told him to get out of his car seat and get on the middle console so he could stand up outside the sunroof. About 30 seconds later the helicopter took off and flew right over us. Very cool and he was totally excited. Anyway, as we were on our way back to their house, out of the blue, Aidan asked me, "Tata, why are you a snot factory?" I tried not to laugh while I explained what I meant.

So yeah, I've had at the very least, a mild cold for the last three weeks. As of Monday, I felt that it had moved into my sinuses, so I went back to the urgent care clinic and the PA put me on some antibiotics. Now I'm not so sure what I have is bacterial because I feel no better after 3 full days of drugs. In any case, I'm going to try and sleep tonight because I couldn't last night, and hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow. I have too much partying to do this weekend to be sick!
