Girls' Night @ Lisa's House

On Saturday night, the Vegas girls (and a few extras) got together at Lisa's house. We had pizza and salad for dinner and lots of stuff to snack on. We went through a few bottles of wine, a case load of beer, and played cards until 2 AM. I absolutely LOVE the picture above. This little sassy-pants is Ryan (Lisa's daughter) and she's sporting Auri's fabulous scarf. Isn't she adorable? She was the youngest member of the girls' night party. About halfway through the soiree we decided we needed more beer, but none of us was in any shape to drive. Jolie tried calling her hubby, but he was MIA, so Holly suggested Lisa call her neighbors and ask them for a ride to the gas station. They ended up having a ton of beer, so they let us have it. Pretty sweet neighbors, if you ask me. This is Jolie and Jenny in the above picture. I met them for the first time that night and had a blast with them. They're definitley girls that fit right in with the rest of us. Hopefully we'll get together again, sometime soon.

Here is Holly being crazy... What else is new?

Here we are at the table. I think that was the first card game we played. It was a drinking game called "Up the river, Down the river." Basically just something someone came up with as a reason to drink a lot. And here is the naughty, trouble-causing Holly. A few of the girls smoke, and throughout the evening they took A LOT of smoke breaks. During one of the outings, Holly came back in the house and shut the door pretty hard, and the shelf to the right of the door fell off the wall and broke. She and Auri patched it back together, but didn't have any extra nails or glue, so Jenny offered her scarf. That's what you see tied around the box. The second card game we played was "Guts" and it was a ton of fun. We each put at least $5 in the pot, and a few of us continued putting in more and more as the night went on. I walked away $11 ahead. I think Holly won the most, but she also put in the most, so she may have been even. In any case, the night was a blast, and I can't wait to do it again!
