Baby Harper

The other day I was reading one of the blogs I follow and noticed a cute little button on her sidebar that said "Pray for Harper." I thought it was cute, but didn't give it much thought. As I was reading down the page of her blog I came across an entry that said something like, "Prayers Needed," it piqued my curiousity, so I clicked on the link in the post to read more about this family. All I can say is that I've been glued to it and have had this family in my thoughts for the last few days. Let's just say I've had to fight back tears on more than one occasion. Mom's name is Kelly and she's got this cute blog called Kelly's Korner. She's this darling girl who has written about many parts of her life on her blog. Kelly shared everything about her pregnancy from the day she found out she was pregnant until she gave birth last week. The baby's name is Harper and she's gorgeous. The trouble is after she was born, she had a hard time breathing on her own (not sure of the exact diagnosis) and she ended up in NICU for some tests. I'm not sure what the consensus was but she had to be flown to the childrens' hospital (away from her poor Momma who just wanted to hold her) and has been there for the last week.
