Other Bridal Makeup...

Here is the second round of bridal makeup photos from a few years back.

This is Natalie in the picture above. This pic was taken back in the Fall of 2005, if I remember correctly. The picture was taken by her soon-to-be-sister-in-law Meghan, who I might add, is amazing. She actually took family pictures for my family a month or two later. The shot was taken at the SLC Library and Meghan happened to catch this shot as the wind blew up behind Natalie and poofed her veil. One of my favorite pics ever!

Here we have the "before" picture of Hilary. She got married back in 2007.
This is the "after" picture of Hilary. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics of her in her dress. I took the photos of her, and for some reason, didn't pay attention to the shadows. I think you still get the idea...

This next set of pictures are of Mandy. I worked with her sister-in-law who you'll see in a later post. The first one is her "before" and the next one is her "after." I've got a cute pic of her in her dress somewhere, but I can't find it as of yet.

Well, there's the second set of posts. Hope you like them. Give me some feedback... I love to hear what you have to say!

Fab makeup. Bridial makeup is so hard as it has to last (plus come through on camera)!
Going on past weddings that I have seen when women do their own make up they don't realise they have to do it a little bit different from "normal". IE for my wedding & photos I knew that the sunlight would wash the colours away (Sri Lanka) so I chose vibrant darker shades that I would not usually use (and got makeup people to do it). Past experience with modeling and films have taught me make up is essential and sometimes "natural" aka very little make up can have disappointing results...

Bridal makeup is an art and I think you've got it spot on.

I love the makeup, especially the last photo on here - so subtle but really really pretty!

Thanks, girls!

It's really strange because I haven't done a wedding in at least a year and a half, and all of a sudden, I've got 4 weddings to do this year! I forgot how much fun I have, and the extra money is always nice!
