Random Tuesdayness #12 - The One I Wrote Ahead of Time

This is officially the first time I've done a Random Tuesdayness post ahead of time. I personally think it defies the purpose of randomness, but oh well. I've got meetings all day tomorrow, so this will have to do. It will still be fabulous, of course. If you don't know what these are all about yet, here's the scoop. I'm at Starbucks. We got done at the office today at 4. I wanted to go home and take a nap, but I refrained. I came over here, checked out blogland for a while, posted an award/tag, and did some work. Yes, I actually did some work. Last week is another story. Shut up.

On Saturday, I went to look at houses with my realtor and my mum. We looked at 10 total. And guess what?! I think I found the one I want. If you want to see pics or check out the website, go here. I mean, tell me that isn't the most gorgeous bathroom ever!? And it has a walk-in closet. I can't really ask for anything more!

I've been texting back and forth with S all weekend. When the convo came to a close last night he said we should hook up for coffee this week. I'm thrilled. I promised myself I wouldn't be the one to suggest meeting. I'm always the first to make the suggestion and it never works out... so I put a restraining order on myself and I was able to hold out! The funny thing is, we haven't even talked on the phone yet. I'm leaving that up to him. If he wants to call, I'll answer. I just hope he doesn't have a girly voice. That is such a major turn-off!

Trying to find a way to sneak RPattz in here and can't find one. So just enjoy the eye candy.

And I've been cracking up thinking back to a comment that Steenky Bee left a few weeks ago in relation to the online dating thing. "So how do you know when to take it further? Is an email the first move? What about texting? IMing? How do you keep it all straight?!" S and I started off e-mailing. We then progressed to texting, but we've yet to talk on the phone. That generally seems to be the natural progression when it comes to the online thing. So yeah, it makes me laugh.

Can I just tell you I adore Russell Brand?! He's strangely sexy and effing hilarious. For those of you who don't know, he's the crazy boyfriend on "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." He was on Craig Ferguson back in the fall and I almost died laughing when I watched it. Here's the link on youtube to watch the 1st clip. The link to the 2nd clip is over on the sidebar. Apparently he has a new book out. I think I'll read it.

Speaking of reading... I'm almost done with my 2nd round of New Moon. It's much better this time around. Maybe because I'm actually paying attention and not speeding through it!

I also got the 9th Sookie book. It's called Dead & Gone. Pretty good so far, but going back to those books is sooo weird after reading Twilight. I'll give my full review when I'm done.

Got multiple pieces of good news today... My grandpa has been having kidney problems and I guess his doctor was worried about cancer. It turns out they thought he had a tumor, but it's only a cyst, and he doesn't have to have anything done to it. My mom went to the dermatologist today for a spot on her hand that kind of appeared all of a sudden. That turned out to be a keratosis of some kind and he just burned it off. So yeah, good news all around.

Well, I think that's enough random crap for today. I need to get ready and go to bed. Gotta get up way earlier than should be legal. Enjoy your Random Tuesdayness, everyone!
