Prom, Kids, Coffee & Puking

I finally got to meet Mr. S yesterday. We officially had our first date! I guess it was our first date anyway, I mean, does coffee count? I got there first and watited for him at a table outside. We changed our meeting location so we could go somewhere with outdoor space. We ended up at the Starbucks on 21st and 7th... why I'm sharing that, I have no idea. Anyway, we talked for a little over an hour and then he had to get going.

{Disclaimer: The picture to the left is not a representation of what happened (unfortunately)}.

Before the conversation ended though, he said we should get together again after I get back from all of my trips! Good sign, right? Boys, help me out here before I turn "female-mode" on and start over-analyzing everything!

Anyway... S is totally cute, can hold a conversation, and I think I really like him. We'll see where it goes.... somewhere good, I hope!

Countdown to San Fran is 3 effing days! Woo hoo!
Countdown to San Diego is 11 effing days! Double Woo Hoo!
I did makeup for prom on Saturday night. The befores and afters can be seen over on my makeup blog. Noelle was the hair stylist and I was the makeup artist. We make quite the great team! The one in the middle is Noelle's niece Mimi, and the guy in back is her nephew, Will. The girls on either side are friends of Mimi's. The girls were all adorable and looked great. We tried to get Will to let me do his makeup, but he just wasn't feelin' it!

Had dinner with Noelle, Rose and Mrs. Martinez on Saturday night after the prom to-do was over. We ate at the Sky Box, and my stomach was not happy about it later.

I got sick on Saturday night/Sunday morning... hence the tweet: I love being awakened at 4 am by food that didn't settle and having to subsequently puke up said food. Not a happy girl.

I wasn't a domestic diva all weekend but I'm cooking tomorrow night... I think I'm making a Chicken Parm Pasta Toss from Rachael Ray's website. We'll see if it turns out.

So I'm trying to add a video of the kids running around like crazy animals yesterday, but blogger won't let me load it... Irritating... Maybe because Aidan is in his underwear? I honestly don't know! Whatever, it's pissing me off. I guess y'all won't get to see how crazy the kids were being! In any case, here is a pic of Aidan and Taryn... she's wearing the Chicken Yuttle costume. Cute, I know. And yes, they're the same size. And no, they're not twins. Aidan (on the left) is 2 years older than his little (read: same size) sister. Rare moment when they're not beating the shit out of each other!

Well that was my weekend in a nutshell. Didn't to a ton, but had a great time! Hope all of yours were great as well!

Their make-up is GORGEOUS! You have a real talent! Wish you could have helped me with my "Stage Make-up" -- Every time I performed, I kept thinking "Do my cheeks look like the Raggedy Anne doll?" HAHA!

Anna - Thanks! I've never done official stage makeup, but I'm sure you looked great! You better post pics on your blog!

Jen - Thanks woman! Ok, good to know it was officially the first date. I wanted to stay longer, but he had to get to dinner at his parents' house! Damnit! Now I have to wait like 3 weeks to see him again!

Ms. Salti, I'm not sure we can remain friends if you support Rachael Ray. Ok, I thought about it and we can continue our friendship but know that your support of Rachael Ray will always be in the back of my mind.

S will most likely wait until you're back from your trips before contacting you again, I bet. Guys are very literal that way!
