Where to start...
I had someone from Shreveport, Louisiana, view my blog. I think that's hilarious because of True Blood. That's Vampire Bill, Arlene (look closely, she doesn't have her red wig on), Sookie and Tara.
I'm still in shock about the house. I can't believe we got it! I can't believe I'm moving. It's going to take some major adjusting and it'll be really weird for a while! FYI, it won't be done until the end of September, so we probably won't be moving until the middle of October.
I'm making a list of things I already have, and a list of things I need for the house. I'm saying "I" instead of "we" because my brother's response to everything I ask him is, "I don't give a fuck." Ok. When one of the accent colors in the kitchen is pink, don't come complaining to me.
Maybe I'll buy a fridge this weekend... the house doesn't come with one. Just a stove/oven, dishwasher and microwave. No fridge. Do you think anyone will freak out if I buy the pink one? If I get the new rebates for that and the washer and dryer, maybe no one will mind!
Candace from Sarcastically Bitter is arriving in Salt Lake this afternoon! I'm so excited! I have a few things planned for us to do... and other than that, it's up to her. Lots of hanging out with my peeps and going out is on the list. Any suggestions?
My last week on the Utah project is next week. I need to start cleaning the crap out of my office. Good thing I don't have too much. I'm not going to Alabama next week, but maybe the week after that. I still don't know. I hate waiting and not having plans.
I found this picture online yesterday. I actually had this ad, torn out of a magazine, hanging on my cubicle back in the day. I'm so happy I found an online version. It cracks me up and I love the message!
I could NOT fall asleep last night and it pissed me off. I even took half an Ambien. I guess buying a house will do that to you. I wonder if I can pull of taking a nap, getting the car cleaned and all the other crap I have to do before I have to pick up Candace at the airport?!
My skin is finally starting to clear up... I haven't been using all the Proactiv stuff, just the "repairing lotion." My skin is so damn temperamental it drives me crazy. Hopefully this upward trend will stick around for a while. I'm sick of looking like a pre-pubescent child.
My mom and dad made a bet last night. My dad bet my mom $500 that I would have to pay extra to get remote garage door openers. My mom and I say they come with the house, and we don't have to pay extra. I can't wait to see who wins this one! He tried betting her that if she lost, she had to listen to, and agree with him about everything for the next three years... like that's going to happen!
Maybe we can use that money to buy a washer and dryer. I need a pair of those as well. The red ones are pretty, but I think they're more expensive... we'll get what we can afford... and hopefully mom and dad can help... or we can finance them and pay them off in a year!
I need to do my makeup. I brought it with me to work because I got up late. What else is new.

Arlene looks weird without red hair!
And congrats again on the house :)

How freaking cool is that?!
YES on the fridge and YES on the W/D!

a
I wanted that set....super expensive!!! I hope you get them and I can live through you!
i never understood people who sold houses without fridges or washers and dryers... or the IDIOTS i bought this place from - who removed the attic stairs from the house seconds before closing.
You definitely need the pink fridge. If your brother doesn't have an opinion then he doesn't get to complain. Couldn't read the ad, but I like butts so it's all good.
Have I told you before that I'm so excited for you and your new house? Yes get that pink fridge, soooo cute.:)
The pink fridge is awesome!! Love it! Have you got SMEG fridges over there? I WANT ONE!!
x
Jaime - Arlene looks totally different. So weird!
Miss Anne - Thanks. I love it! Can't wait to go shopping.
Jules - I don't think I'll get those exact ones, but maybe something similar.
Jaime - I don't get it either, but oh well. I can buy exactly what I want, provided I can afford it!
Captain - I'll type out the ad for you. It's hilarious.
Andhari - Thanks again so much!
Saskia - I really don't think I can get away with the pink fridge, sadly! Not sure about SMEG fridges as I've never heard of one. I'll have to look it up.
you should just get plain white appliances and modge podge pictures of hot dudes all over the outside.
that is my recommendation and it is golden.
Haha, you're totally right - when you and your brother are outta there, your parents will have one bad case of empty nest syndrome!
PS: Love the fridge.
Congrats!! ANd I adore that pink fridge!!!
Bill is even hotter in real life... wow... that fridge is even hotter in real life... wow... that ass is... okay, I'll stop there...
night dude
Congrats on the house. I love that pink fridge. LOVE.
I can't read the My Butt text. But with a butt like that, who needs words?
Kara - Good idea, I think I'll do that.
Ali - They are losing it as we speak!
Kel - Thanks!
Aurs - You are nuts...
Frogs - Thanks, girl!
Braja - Seriously, I know.
