True Blood - The End ... For Now

All I have to say is... I don't know if I can wait... I could die of anticipation between now and then! What the hell am I talking about, you ask? Well, I'm referring to the fact that I will have to wait until next summer for Season 2 of True Blood on HBO. Once again, I find myself trying really hard to convey in words the absolute obsession I'm having with this show and the sexy, hot, smokin' men on it. Holy mother of God, they are beautiful!
Anyway... the season finale was on Sunday night, and although I thought I'd go into convulsions after it ended knowing there would be no new episodes for eight or nine months, I was surprisingly calm, and pleasantly surprised with the ending. Alan Ball (the director, who also directed Six Feet Under) did a great job of tying up loose ends left from the previous episode or two, and left the fans with a great cliffhanger. I wasn't upset about the way it ended simply because I've been reading the books and know what happens (at least for as much of the show that follows the main storyline) tee hee hee. And speaking of the books, I just finished the fourth one and started the fifth, and I just have to share the names of them with you because... 1) you may want to read them yourself, and 2) the titles are hilarious! So, here goes, the Southern Vampire Series, Sookie Stackhouse novels, by Charlaine Harris, in chronological order: 1) Dead Until Dark, 2) Living Dead in Dallas, 3) Club Dead, 4) Dead to the World, 5) Dead as a Doornail, 6) Definitely Dead, 7) Altogether Dead, 8) From Dead to Worse, and in May 2009 we'll have 9) Dead and Gone (which I'm happy to hear the series is continuing on, at least as far as the books go).
Let me just tell y'all, that after reading the fourth book, I really can't wait until the fourth season (I'm assuming they're doing one book per season, and praying it will get renewed that far into the series). I will try not to give away too much info, but all I have to say is, Damn, I can't wait to see Eric in all of his glory! Is it hot in here, or is it just me?In ending, I have to say that I can't wait to see where the story goes with chick in the picture above. She isn't part of the books (at least as far as I've read) and she's freakin' hilarious.
