Random Tuesdayness - I Missed Last Week Because I Thought It Was Tuesday On Wednesday

So yeah, it's Tuesday, and guess what? I didn't forget this week! Aren't you proud? I sure as hell hope so because I am! Being that it's Tuesday, you know what that means. You're getting a dose of random. Not that that's any different from what you normally get from me, but you know what I mean! Go talk to Keely if you want to play!Did I mention that after my near-death experience (in the plane that I thought was going down) I decided I needed to go to church? Well I did. I've had these urges before (it sounds like I'm talking about something really dirty, huh?) and every time I think about it, I think about going to the Cathedral. This is now starting to sound familiar. Yes, I think I did tell you about it. Anyway, I went with Jessica and Noelle to the Cathedral last week and the Newman Center on the U of U campus this week. I have to say, I think I prefer the services at the Cathedral.

My hands are so dry right now it feels like they're going to crack as I'm typing.

I made pasta with homemade marinara sauce tonight, as well as chocolate chip cookies. Those cookies are going to be the death of me. I started on them last night and realized I didn't have any flour... or baking sheets. So I had to put them on hold until today after I could go to the store.
I can't find my battery charger for my little pink camera and I'm pissed. I need to find it or buy a new one and I have a feeling that a new one is going to cost as much as buying a new camera. Damnit!

I really want to buy a purple iPod Nano... 16GB. I'm trying to control myself and save my money... pay off a doctor bill, save for some decorations for the house, you know, responsible stuff. But I REALLY want one! Oh well, I'll save up!

Rachel Maddow is on Letterman (yes, I'm starting this post Monday night and will finish in on Tuesday) and (yes, it's a rerun) I really like listening to what she has to say. She's very well-spoken and doesn't talk outta her ass. Weird, I know.

Working from home rocks, except it's really hard to find the motivation to get out of bed at a decent hour... unless I have a conference call scheduled. We won't discuss what time I got out of bed this morning.

I still need to finish the Vegas posts. My hell, those are going to be the death of me.

Auri and I are working on a second toy review post. Well, I should say she's done her part and I still need to do mine. I've been on my work computer though, and that's not kosher, so maybe I'll get it done tonight when I go over to visit. Good idea! Look for the post tomorrow or the next day over on her blog.
I really need to clean my house and have absolutely no desire to do so. I need to find some extra money to pay someone to do it for me. Or, maybe someone will offer to do it out of the kindness of their heart... anyone?
