NYE 2010

New Year's Eve 2009 proved to be quite a pain in the ass. No one had made any concrete plans and everyone was scrambling around at the last minute trying to figure out what to do. I think in the end there ended up being 2 or 3 parties thrown together at the last minute. As a result, I decided I'd plan ahead and host New Year's Eve 2010 at my house! There still ended up being multiple parties, but I didn't get the word out soon enough in advance!
I would like to state for the record that I have some of the most amazing friends in the world! I try to surround myself with people who have a positive influence on my life and I couldn't ask for better friends.

I told everyone to come over anytime after 8 PM and stay until whenever. I'm glad I decided to get started as late as I did because I needed that much time to get ready. Why is it that no matter how early you start preparing, you're never quite ready when party time rolls around?! I figured as long as the drinks were available and flowing (hence the multitude of martini and shot glasses) the rest could come whenever!
Say hello to Crystal and Nick... aren't they cute?!
And here we have Miss Noelle and Kelly. She was relegated to sitting on the couch all night because she's been exhausted (literally) from her pneumonia that she's still recovering from. I think she secretly resents me for making her stay on the couch!
This is Kasian and Rob. They recently started dating and he's got the approval from all of us! Go Rob!
Rob, Kasian, Rose and Shmodus. Such a cute picture!
Paul and Brittany had company in the way of Val over the holiday and she joined the party. I've met Val twice before but really got to hang out with her here. The girl cracks me up! Naturally, Paul was on a roll and had us laughing all night.
Wikiball didn't know I was taking this picture and I think it turned out great... if I do say so myself! Someone pointed out that Brittany, Karen and I were "cheers'ing" and Val just dove into her shot! I guess she was really excited to drink it!
Four of my favorite bitches!
I had such a wonderful time at the party and hope all my guests did as well. Thank you all for making it so much fun. And thanks again to Wikiball for doing the dishes. They may still be sitting in the sink, had you not done them!

I hope everyone had a great New Year's celebration and I wish you all nothing but the best in the upcoming year! Much love!

I had a blast this New Years! Thanks again for hosting! It's always a lot of work, but our friends always make it fun. Can't imagine spending it with anyone else. I love you guys!

They do looklike they had a great time. It's so cool of you to throw an event for your friends :)

I definitely experienced one of those NYE's when nobody made concrete plans so I just went here and there, club hopping. It's not as nice as staying somewhere with the closest friends, for sure.

Aww that looks like so much fun! I think the best way to spend NYE is in a warm house with people you love... you did it perfectly!

SB - Maybe nexy year you can join us!

Noelle - I'm glad you don't resent me. I had so much fun!

Karen - We seriously do have the best friend and the best time with them!

Andhari - Next year, make plans! It's so much easier than party hopping and having to have a DD.

Nic - You and SB should come next year! Glad you're back.... it's been a busy time for everyone!

Brookie - Yes, it really is the best way. Y'all should come to SLC for NYE next year! Party at my house!
