I recently came across a post on Mr. Condescending's blog where he invited everyone in for dinner and a tour of his home. I decided I wanted to play, so I'm inviting everyone over for an evening at my place! I hope you'll kick back and enjoy yourselves.
First off I'd like to offer you a drink. This is my personal stash, but I'm sure if you ask, my parents will be more than happy to share any of their alcohol with you. My dad's recent discovery of tequila has provided our home with more than a few bottles of "the good stuff." I prefer vodka with mixed with just about anything... maybe you'd like a Fig, a Cape Cod, or a Vodka Martini? You let me know.
Next I'll attempt to make you some dinner. I recently bought my very first cookbook. I've never had to cook until about four months ago (the perks of living at home and eating out a lot) so I thought I'd get something easy to start with. I know there is a very large poplulation that hates Rachael Ray, but I kinda like her... don't hold that against me. Plus, her recipes are pretty easy, and I'm all about easy!
You have two choices:
French Onion Sliced Steak with Gruyere Sauce and Green Beans
And if you don't like it, well, tough titty! Ha! I never professed to be a good cook, but I can make a mean cocktail!
Next we'll peruse a few of my favorite books. I read mostly Chick Lit and Vampire Stuff so I hope you can find something that will interest you. If all else fails, I can read passages to you from "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star," in my seductive, sexy voice. That's sure to get a rise out of anyone!
Moving on to the movie collection, you've got a lot to choose from. We can watch a season of Entourage, Love Actually, or maybe Knocked Up. I'm leaving the decision up to you! And keep in mind, I've always got Twilight as a back up, although, the boys might not be into it! Well, there you have it... a night in at my place. Mr. C - Just because I live in Utah, is it necessary to insult me with the Mormon references? Come on! If you do come over, I'll make sure to have one of my neighbors come over and preach to you. I'm sure any one of them would be more than happy.
And keep in mind, hot men in my house are not allowed to wear shirts... the name badge will have to go on your pants!
But then I guess that goes against what I named the post, so, shirts are ok, no pants!

I have decided the first alcoholic drink I have once boyo is born will be a martini with olives in. Can you post me a good martini cocktail/drink that I can make and garnish with olives?
For now I just have to eat olives and dream.
I kindof collect recipe books... unfortunatley that's a far as I get.. Full of good intentions but then I have to write a shopping list and that is far too organised :)
OK, well I think you already know how I feel about Rachel Ray...hahahaha, but nevertheless, I would show up, and pants would not even be optional... I drive better with no pants on...
