Not sure where the hell that came from, but it seems like a good start to Random Tuesday Thoughts... brought to you by Keely at The Un Mom. If you don't know how it works by now, that's not my problem. This post is waaay too long to go into an explanation...but keep reading, cuz it's good!

I was watching Letterman the other night (which was more like a week and a half ago because I started writing this on Friday) and his guest was Grizzly Bear. I'd never heard of the guy so I decided to give him a listen. As I was watching the band, I noticed the four people on strings in the back and was intrigued by their plucking as opposed to playing with their bows. Then it dawned on me, the guy on viola was a good friend of mine from high school, John Richards. Totally crazy!

Mr. Gorilla Bananas introduced us to The Kush a few weeks ago and I'm thinking about getting one. Per the website...

Just overheard in our kitchen (this was said in a joking manner - don't freak out):

Dad: (to me) And you want to leave me alone with her (referring to my mom)?

Me: You're a big boy, you can handle her.

Dad: Well then don't be surprised if you come home and find her dead.

Such a loving family...

My very first teacher in 7th grade who taught my art class insisted on being called Mr. Banana. It didn't occur to me until a few years ago how disturbing this was.

As requested last week, I'm offering up some eye candy for the boys and the girls! As an aside, I'd totally do him and I'd switch teams for her! If you don't know who they are, you're obviously living under a rock!

And of course, some TLautz, too! Oh, Jacob, how you've grown up!This is our pooch, Fergie, aka Fergalicious (just for the record, I came up with the name waaaay before the song came out). She likes to clean her beard after she's had her dinner.


Seeing how this is my 400th post, maybe I should get around to answering some of the questions you guys posed in my 300th post... just a thought! Here goes:

Elisha asked: What made you choose the career path you followed? How/when did you get interested in makeup?

I kind of just fell into my current career. I'm not sure how much I like it... As for makeup, I've always loved everything about it. I remember watching my mom when I was little and just developed a love for it!

This picture of Jenna Jameson was taken by Josh Ryan and her hair & makeup were done by Alexis Vogel... it's one of my favorite pics! I wish I were as good an artist as this! I have something to work toward!

I sometimes feel badly that I didn't continue on with it, but at the same time, I remind myself how much sacrifice I would have had to make and think I made the right choice.... not that I know what I want to be when I grow up! If I had continued, I'd still go with Obstetrics.
