I blogged last night and only ended up with one comment... from my BFF Noelle. I feel like nobody else loves me! But since it's Tuesday it's time for some random, so pull up a seat and dive in. I can't guarantee it'll be exciting, but it will be enjoyable. If you wanna play, go talk to Keely.
I'm having a New Year's Eve party at my house and I'm sooo excited! So excited in fact, I started cleaning last night. At midnight. After I'd taken an Ambien. If anything, at least I get cleaning done when I take it! Maybe I should do that more often...
Did I tell you guys (probably not because I've been pretty MIA lately) what Aidan said last week? Auri and I were sitting on the couch while the kids were eating dinner and Aidan turned to me and said, "Hey, we saw Jesus." Just like that. Very matter-of-factly.... "We saw Jesus." I'm still wondering where Jesus was and how exactly Aidan knew it was him.
My house is so blah I could barf. Everything is white and sterile. The walls are all white. The family room furniture is white and beige. If I didn't have brown cabinets, a dark countertop and some brown drapes, I might actually lose my mind thinking I was in the asylum.
I'm using a lot of italics today.
I got a pink tea kettle for Christmas and it's sooo cute. Too bad it's not made very well and I can't get the screw that fell out to stay put. I'm gonna have to send it back and buy another one. I hate that they're so damn expensive!!! I think I may look into buying this one!
I still don't have my TiVo hooked up and I'm kind of starting to freak out. I hate not being able to rewind something I missed while watching a show.
On Sunday night I went with Noelle and her man-friend Kelly to go see NINE. If you haven't seen it and enjoy musicals, I suggest going. I really liked it. I think Noelle is still asking WTF.
I told y'all that I went on a date, right? So yeah, Mr. K took me to the piano bar where we had dinner and a few drinks and enjoyed the show. He was a total gentleman and even walked me to the door when he brought me home. Sooo sweet! And I may or may not have gotten a little smoochie goodnight. But I'm not saying.
We were supposed to go on a date again this past Saturday (to my friend Angie's birthday party), but as it will, shit happened, and we didn't end up going out. We did get to hang out and watch a movie though, and it was really nice. I don't think I'll kick him to the curb yet!
Well, I think this is it for today. I'll be working on the Vegas posts tonight and I should have the first one up tomorrow. As always, as a parting gift, here's a little RPattz. BTW, Auri and I saw New Moon again last week. My count is up to 4.
P.S. Best line from the movie... "I'll be waiting for you here, with my legs open."

Ooooh I like that kettle. If I wasn't so poor (after the quote I received for my birthday party!!), I would come and party for new years. Mr. K sounds awesome. Just don't pull anything like I did.
I loved that line and I am over the WTF factor... I liked it. I am sad that your teapot can't be fixed, but I really like the new one! I am so excited for New Years! Woot Woot!
I can't believe you guys have seen that movie so much, god forbid it comes out and you start rewinding it and stuff!
I'm glad your happy for the most part with your new place.
you know i love you hon. but i've been on a blogging hiatus while i'm in florida.
i don't recall that line in the movie! wish i did - that's hysterical.
A date! That is awwwwesome. And yeah, kettles suck unless you drop a shit load of money on them. Le Creuset has the best ones.
we love a good tea kettle in this house, we often get them from Tj Maxx tho or Ross, because they are less expensive that way. And a date with Mr. K. My husband is a Mr. K too. Hmmmm
I'm jealous! I tried to convince B to host a NYE party, but he wasn't having any of it. Have fun!
I think it's almost time for you to paint the interior. I'll help with colors, but the painting sucks! Hence my unfinished kitchen.
Can't wait to meet Mr. K!!! :) And just because we don't post... doesn't mean that we are not reading. Happy Tuesday!
see i'm a musical freak, love all of them, and i just couldn't get into nine - i don't know what it was but i thought it was kinda boring.
loved kate hudson's song though, very fun.
SB - Yes, you come here for New Year's and I'll come to you for your birthday!
Noelle - Good, I'm glad you decided you liked it!
Mr. C - He he... you love that we're addicted! You should come to the NYE party!
Jaime - I didn't realize you were in FL on a blogging hiatus because I've been on a hiatus myself. I suck! And the line is from Penelope Cruz when he leaves her in her hotel room.
Brooke - I'm very tempted to use some Christmas gift money and buy a nice one!
BeautifulWreck - I'll have to check TJ and Ross but otherwise I'm shelling out the dough!
LiLu - You are invited over here... just have to buy a plane ticket or drive to Utah! My door is open!
Karen - The only thing I've ever painted was my bathroom in my parents' house. It wasn't too bad. I think I'll have the hardest time deciding on colors.
alexa - It was a bit slow, but the songs and dancing were fabulous!
I feel the same way about my blog. I only have a handful of readers and it seems like I hardly get comments.
I liked NINE as well but it was not what I expected. I loved Fergie's song and Penelope Cruz was a hottie!
I got one good eye candy shot, anyway!! lol
