Random Tuesdayness - Little Bits of This and That

It's TUESDAY and since I wasn't here last Tuesday, you should rejoice. And since I haven't been around much in the last week or two, you should consider yourselves lucky. Just kidding. But seriously. And let me tell you, I have been trying for three days to get pictures from Vegas loaded into a post to start sharing the stories with you, and the friggin' things won't load. I'm at my wits end and I don't know what to do... Anyway, if you wanna play, go talk to Keely at The UnMom.

Noelle came home from the hospital yesterday. Final diagnosis was just a really bad case of pneumonia... which is good because nothing more serious is wrong with her! She's home and resting and isn't allowed to do anything. She feels like poo, so send some good vibes her way, and go visit if you can! I finally put a wreath on my wreath hanger on the front door. It's even a home made wreath... so you should be proud! It's got lights on it, and I just so happen to have an outlet outside the front door. The only problem is if the cord is plugged in, it kind of impedes the entrance to the house. Sooo, if you come over and the lights are plugged in, either duck under the cord, or just unplug the damn thing!

I did a TON of Christmas shopping today. I got my brother's stuff finished and my grandma's annual hanging glass hummingbird/dragonfly. I got some stuff for my mom, and a few things for the friends. Nothing exciting! The mall was crazy today, and so was Target. I really need to hunker down and get everything finished ASAP. This afternoon I'm going to tea with my mum, Aunt Carrie, Janice, Auri and I'm not sure who else. Miss Noelle is supposed to join us, but she's not really allowed out. Tea is at the Grand America hotel and I'm so excited. We've gone to tea a few times and it's always so much fun.

So, I went on my date on Saturday and everything went really well. We shall refer to my "Man Friend" as Mr. K. I think I'll post about the date in another post... just know it went well and we have plans to see each other again this coming Saturday!My Aunt Carrie gave me one of her old Christmas trees... it's not pre-lit, but they already had lights on it, so good enough. The only problem is, the damn thing won't stay upright. I finally have it jimmy-rigged and on the linoleum so that it won't fall over and I think we're good. Too bad I lost a few ornaments in the process! I really don't feel like my tree is very cool. Compared to my mom's, my tree blows. But oh well, it's up and it's decorated. Go me!

Ok, so remind me I need to blog about Vegas, my date, and it seems like I was starting this list because there were more than two items on it, but now I can't remember what they were. Hence, why I was starting the damn list. Got to the end of the post and remembered: my surprise birthday dinner on Friday night. I'll blog about that, too. I need to decorate my house. I'm effing sick and tired of looking and nothing but white walls and beige furniture. It's quite boring and I'm getting really bored with it.

Right now I'm on the 7th book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series but I'm reading it very slowly... not sure why, other than the fact that I've been ridiculously busy and haven't been traveling as much as I was.

Speaking of which, I'm in SLC until the 4th of January when I go back to Montgomery for the week. I'm not sure what my schedule is going to be after that, but I'm hoping the travel is down to every other week. My friend Di Bradley left on Friday for Mexico. I'm not exactly sure where she was going, but I'm praying she made it safely. In order to save on the moola, she flew from here to San Diego, took a bus from SD to Tiajuana, then from Tiajuana took a boat or a bus or a train to somewhere else where she was to get on another bus that would take her to her final destination. I told her it was nice knowing her. She said she'd email Auri and I when she arrived safely but I haven't heard from her. I wonder if Auri has...

Ok, enough from me. Oh, I almost forgot. I have to apologize for missing RTT last week. That's the first time I've missed a post since I started doing the RTTs. I'm a jerk. What can I say!? I can say that it was because I was traveling all day and didn't get around to it...
