Random Tuesdayness - I Leave for a Few Weeks and The World Goes to Shit... and Happy Birthday To My Dad!

Good Lord, it's been a while since I've RTT'd. I thought today I'd hop back on the bandwagon. I've kinda been in bed for the last 3 days so I thought I'd rejoin the world today. If you wanna RTT, go talk to Keely!

Happy Birthday to my Dad! I love you sooo much! I won't tell y'all how old he is so he doesn't disown me. We're supposed to go to dinner tonight, but I have a feeling that won't be happening!
This blizzard heading for Utah isn't going to be pretty. Apparently Utah County government offices are closing at 2:30 PM today, and a lot of places are cancelling school for tomorrow already! I'm a bit concerned. I guess I should shower and all that fun stuff in case the power goes out... The National Weather Service is saying there will be Life Threatening Conditions. OMG. This is starting to freak me out.

Ok, seriously, what the hell has been happening the last few days? I turn on the news to find North Korea has fired artillery on South Korea!? WTF?! What? Why? When? This isn't good.
Um, have you heard about my friend Cass? If not, you're so not in the loop! I'll give you the news anyway... She's moving back to Denver!!! Like in less than 30 days.... And guess what else? I'm going to visit her over New Years!!! I'm sooo excited. I bet you couldn't tell with all of the exclamation points and all.

I didn't have to go to OKC this week and I couldn't be happier! I need a week at home every once in a while so I don't lose my cool. Seriously. Every week. It gets old. Fast. And how is it possible there was NOT A SINGLE FUCKING CAR to rent in all of Oklahoma City last week? Seriously? I'm floored. And it ruined my week! Assholes.
I love NeNe like crazy... but if the dog doesn't stop shedding soon I may lose my effing mind! I've been lint-rolling everything and I'm out of sticky sheets. Someone should send in reinforcements.

How many of you are thinking about braving the crazies and going shopping at the ass-crack of dawn on Friday? I think I am. There are some amazing deals out there... but then again, is it really worth it? I think a $200 TV and a $300 HP laptop might be worth it... I'll reevaluate in a day or two. My main problem is my hip has gone all outta whack again and the pain is just about killing me. I wish so badly my body could handle pain meds (like the hard stuff) because I'd be in LaLa Land right now. Unfortunately, I can only take Advil and a muscle relaxer when necessary and it's making my life a bit difficult. Especially because I need to be working and can hardly stand to sit down for more than 10 minute increments! I guess I'll have to work standing at the kitchen counter!

Alright, well, I'm gonna go wash my hair and make sure the house is ready for, as a friend of mine put it, "the second coming of Christ" this afternoon. I hope everyone stays safe and warm and if I have power, I'll be back tomorrow!
