Random Tuesdayness - The Sun Is Shining!

Wednesday is creepin' up on us, but I WILL get this RTT done TODAY! I have cramps from hell and hip pain to rival I don't know what, so my level of concentration right now blows a big fat one. I'm gonna try to entertain you, so bear with me.

I live in Utah. Utah's weather is VERY tempermental. Therefore, Summer only really started a couple weeks ago. Perhaps, you say, on the solstice when it was supposed to start? Shut up. It usually gets warm here by the middle or end of May. It took an extra month to warm up and we've all gotten sick and tired of being cold! Here's a picture of the pool at my complex (I say that like I own the whole thing) where I've been spending as many hours as I can. It's been Heaven!Here's a recent picture of baby NeNe... that girl loves her bed and cracks me up. Her babysitter is in Malibu for the week so she's at home during the day with me while my bro is at work. We've been bonding. Other than the fact that there's a bald patch in my rug at the front door, things have gone well thus far. We even took a nap this afternoon... she's such a snuggler!

Y'all may have noticed, or not, since I haven't blogged in a few days, I have a new banner/header up top... It's essentially all the same stuff, just amped up and totally adorable now. I have Cassi to thank for that one... isn't she great? (She's also got some new digs over on her blog so go check it out!) I think I love that girl! Anyway, go tell her how cute it is. I gave her a complex because it took me a few days to put it up... I just wasn't sure how to make it work but I figured it out. I love it and hope you do, too! If you're 30 years of age or older and you blog, and you're not a member of Studio 30+, then you're lame. Seriously. I was kinda depressed when I turned 30 and couldn't be a member of 20sb anymore... now I have a place to feel cool again, and so do you!This is my pretty Gerber daisy that I cut the stem off of because it got too floppy and wouldn't stay up. Remind you of anything? Ha! Anyway, I didn't want to put it in a regular vase, so I sat it in a really cute martini glass that I proceeded to break three days later. I need another one. Not for martinis, for flowers... help a girl out... If you know where to find one of these, let me know!

Auri and I took the kiddies to the pool on Sunday and had a blast! It's pretty comical that the two youngest are far less inhibited than their big brother. Taryn was doing flips and Aidan was swimming under water by himself some pretty good distances. I tried throwing Tristan in the water and he held on to me for dear life. I almost lost an ear in the process... Can't wait 'til we can do it again. This is my new sofa table that my Aunt Carrie gave me. I've been trying to get it to my house since I moved in, but haven't had the help/appropriate transportation to get it here. Now that it's all set up, I love it! I need to get some new baskets to put underneath because the ones the came with it are pretty beat up... other than that, it's great! Whaddaya think?

Well, that's it for now... gotta get some work finished and make some dinner. Anyone wanna come over and cook?
