Haa-aay! It's Tuesday! Well, for a short while longer, it is. I've been a major slacker in the blogosphere the past week and deserve to be punished. I thought I'd whip out a post before y'all start a revolution... or at least, that's how it would happen in my deranged little mind, assuming you all love me that much. If you wanna do the RTT, go talk to Keely.
I've been puppy-sitting since Saturday afternoon and I'm starting to lose my effing mind. I've never spent this much time in my house without being deathly ill. She got her ears "done" last Thursday and has to be under constant observation. Her brother got his ears done too, so they have to be separated until they heal. Personally, I think my brother should have taken the week off to be with her. I told him I'd help him out... I realize now I didn't know how involved "helping him out" would be! That's her in her sad little cone... don't get mad at me... it wasn't my idea!
Auri's dad invited a bunch of women (myself included) to take part in a photo shoot out at the Great Salt Lake. I won't give too much away because this is his project, but he'd like us all in bustiers and the like. Since I don't own a bustier I had to go in search of one... I thought this would be especially difficult considering I'm a full-figured girl. Lo and behold I found this great website called Hips and Curves and I'm in love! They have got the cutest lingerie I've seen for plus size girls in a long while. This is what I ordered and I can't wait to try it on. I really hope it fits! And if my boobs don't fill it out, we're stuffing! ("We" being me and whomever gets nominated to help me get in the damn thing!) If you're nice, and the photos turn out, I may share them with you...Joss Stone tickets went on sale yesterday! I got tickets for Auri, Odum and myself and I am so effing excited! I love that woman and love to see her perform! I hope we can follow her around this summer and see a few shows!
I have a major fear of choking on something when I'm home alone, or eating in the car... and subsequently dying. Is that weird? I wouldn't think so, but you never know.
Heidi Klum is on Leno and the woman cracks me up. The woman is smart, gorgeous, and funny. She's definitely someone I'd like to have a girls' night out with! Did you ever happen to see when Ross the Intern interviewed her at the Golden Globes last year? He was asking for bio-samples from all the stars... he asked if he could use a wax strip on her and she said there was nothing to wax... so instead she ended up waxing him... it was awesome! I can't find the clip online, but if you can, it's worth watching. BTW, if you didn't see her spread in Allure this month, check it out... absolutely gorgeous!Tomorrow is Administrative Professionals Day, aka Secretary's Day. Ya know, most of the work I do is that of a glorified secretary, so I want a present, damnit!
I cannot wait until the end of the summer when I can make an appointment for my new tattoo. I'm now friends on Facebook with the artist (Sarah de Azevedo) I'm going to see, so hopefully this way I'll know as soon as she's back from maternity leave and taking appointments. The woman is amazing! Take a look at her portfolio if you have time... you won't be disappointed!
If anyone finds some cute shower caps either in a store or online, let me know. I need to buy one and send it to Big Mama Cass. I've seen a couple online, but nothing really adorable. Help me out!
I think there's something wrong with the lights in my house. I've never seen so many light bulbs burn out in a six month time period, ever! I should have the asshole contractors look into it... if I can ever get them to come back!
Alrighty... that's enough rambling from me this evening. If you haven't seen any comments from me on your blog in the last week it's because I've been an asshole and haven't made the rounds. It's not because I don't love you, it's because I've been swamped. I'll catch up ASAP!

We used to have a doberman who had a similar ear job. We had to put on the dreaded cone so that he wouldn't scratch at the cup attached to his head. He looked quite funny indeed.

When we had a dog and he had some sort of eye infection, we had to put a cone on him so he wouldn't scratch his eyes. My brother and I called him "cone head" for awhile. It was amusing!
