Last week Auri and Jessica came over to watch SYTYCD, and Aurs brought Taryn with her (it was girls' night, afterall). I did Auri's toes so they'd be cute for her trip to NM, and while I was finishing them, Miss Taryn fell asleep sitting on Auri's lap, straddling her. Anyway, I had this fab idea to paint her toes. Auri and I have been excited to do her toes since the day she was born, but wanted to wait until she was old enough, so as not to poison her with nail polish. We also decided a long time ago that, if and when it happened, we'd have to paint her toes while she was asleep or there would be nail polish all over the place. So, I had my chance to perform her official Girls' Night Induction, and it was so much fun. (I'm easily entertained). I decided on a bright pink polish and only did one coat. Thank God for quick-dry spray or we'd be in trouble! Each time I touched her cute little toenail with the brush, her leg would twitch, but I pulled it off. Here is a picture of the final product. I'm not sure why her skin is so shiny... maybe from the spray?
Added note: I asked Auri when and how Taryn reacted to her toes. I guess she woke up the next morning, looked at her toes, pulled her foot up close to her face, and admired them for a good little while. The polish has since chipped off, but we'll re-do them soon enough.

super cute! How did she like them when she woke up? I bet she loved them like any girl would. Now she will probably hold still to have them done!
