Halloween Is In The Air

Welcome to Day 3 of the Fabulous Fall Blog Challenge hosted by Neely & Amber.  Today's topic is:
What do you do for Halloween / A Halloween memory

Anyone who knows me knows that I love Halloween.  Dressing up and getting to be someone else for one night is such a blast.  I can't say I've ever really gone over the top with any of my costumes, or that I've ever come up with anything super creative, but I love getting all decked out for the occasion.

A few years ago, my friend Noelle and I made ourselves tutus.  Well, I was too busy traveling for work, so she made them for us (after I had made one for Miss Taryn that was sooo adorable!) and they were so cute!  I think we wore them and went as twin Sugar Plum Fairies the last two Halloweens in a row.  Last year I wore a wig (which I'd never done before) and I loved it!  I don't have a picture of the tutu, but this is what I looked like last year.
The year before that I was going to a friend's Halloween Party and wanted to dress up as someone/something awesome!  This party is held annually and is ridiculous!  They empty out their entire fridge (I'm talking the shelves on the door and everything) and fill it with jello and kamikaze shots in little disposable cups!  Everyone gets decked out and it is so much fun.  I decided to go as Amy Winehouse and I think I pulled off the look!
That's Auri and I... we had a second party to go to the following weekend and I wasn't in the mood for much, so I just did some cute makeup and put on my witch's hat.  I think it worked out fine!
This year, I'm not sure if I'm going to dress up or not.  If someone decides to have a party or the girls and I go out somewhere, then I'll probably find something to wear.  If not, I don't think I'll be too disappointed.  As of right now, I don't have the energy for it!  The hat or a wig is always a good backup plan if I need something in a pinch!

What are your plans for Halloween this year?

I plan to keep the kids out until they can barely walk to ensure I get a really good haul of candy.
