Random Tuesdayness - Music and Movies and Longing

It's Tuesday... for a little bit longer... time to get some random thrown into a post for y'all. Keely is still boycotting the whole thing, but there are a few brave souls out there who have taken on the challenge! Go talk to them or link up if you wanna play!
Oh, how I love me some Mumford. I need more Mumford in my life. A new album would be much appreciated... or at least a concert in a city I could easily attend. (BTW, that's not my picture, I found it on tumblr... isn't it fab? It belongs to Eryn Inglis...she's got some other great sketches over there, too.)
I found a new band last week that I've fallen inlove with. I don't know much about them other than I love their music. They're called The Naked and Famous... the single on the radio is called Young Blood... Go check 'em out. This is one of those bands whose music elicits a physical response from me.Off on a totally random tangent, this is another thing I saw on tumblr this week and it really caught my attention. No matter what side you're on, it gets you thinkin', doesn't it?Do you see the fugly afghan sitting on that couch? I want it. Or at least I want to make one just like it. Anyone have any idea how to do so? I can crochet rows of things, and a few flowers, but I need to figure out the squares. Thoughts? Advice? It'd all be muchly appreciated. Fanks in advance. It's no secret that I'm inlove with Vin Diesel. I mean, come on... the man is effing hot. I realize his look doesn't appeal to everyone, but hot damn, I'd love to throw down with that boy! Needless to say, when I found out Fast Five was slated to come out, I squeeled... a lot. You can bet your asses I saw it over the weekend!

Auri and I went on a date Saturday night (I'm liking this Aurs/Tata date night thing every other weekend) and did the dinner and a movie thing. We ate at a new restaurant in Salt Lake called Rice and it was delish. If you like any type of Asian food, this is the place for you. Their menu includes items ranging from Sushi to Teriyaki Rice Bowls to Thai food and it's all very tasty. Prices are very reasonable as well.All I'm going to say about the movie is that it was perfect. Absolutley perfect. And if you go to see it, make sure you stick around long enough after the credits to see the bonus scene at the end. You won't be sorry you did. Then come over here and we'll talk about it. Trust me, you'll want to. I'll be here waiting for you when you get back... go on now... you're going to be late!
