Top 10s About My Besties

Jumping on the ole bloggy bandwagon over here and participating in Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop. The post isn't supposed to go up until tomorrow, but this is good, people, and perfection cannot wait. I chose Blog Prompt #5: List 10 things about one of your favorite people... however, I put my own spin on it and am giving you 3 for the price of 1!It's no secret around here that there is a handful of very remarkable women I'm lucky enough to have in my life, and the relationships I have with them are VERY important to me. I have very different relationships with each of them, but none of them are any more important than the others. I love these girls with all my heart! I may have mentioned them each a time or two, but for shits and giggles, I'm gonna give you my Top 10 List about each of them. Lace up your corsets, cuz here we go!First off we have Auri (aka Aurelia, Lippi, Gina, Dude & Bunghole), my Heterosexual Life Partner (HLP for short). She and I met on the first day of 10th grade and have been inseparable ever since. Cute, huh? Here's my top ten list of things I love about her:
1. She calls me on my shit.
2. She is one of the most selfless, giving people I know.
3. She is an awesome mom who parents her children while still allowing them to be kids.
4. She loves me.
5. She doesn't let (most) of the little things get under her skin.
6. She tells me what I need to hear, not always what I want to hear.
7. We have been through the absolutely darkest places and the most magnificently wonderful places together, have helped each other through, and are better for it.
8. She's the first to volunteer when I need a zit popped, an ingrown hair removed, or flaky skin peeled off my back!
9. She gave me (look at me talking like they're my own) three little bubbas that I love so incredibly much.
10. She can look at me, not say a single word, and communicate exactly what's on her mind.Next chica on my list is Noelle (aka Nellie, Shnoelle, Sis and NOELLE!), who everyone denies is really my long-lost, finally-found twin. Noelle and I met about 4 years ago after having both been told by our mutual friend, Rose that we'd get along fabulously. How we didn't find each other sooner, I'll never know. Here's my top ten for Nellie!1. She makes me laugh.
2. She has a fierce passion for the things she believes in.
3. She is loyal to those she loves and cares about.
4. She loves me.
5. She and I can sit and laugh at the most mundane shit for hours and still find it hysterical the next day.
6. She is handling her "third-life crisis" beautifully!
7. She is an awesome "mom", aunt, sister and daughter and holds every single member of her family in high esteem.
8. She is one of the best travel buddies I've ever had.
9. She is sooo much fun to shop with!
10. She is an amazing friend who would do anything for anyone!The final BFF on my list is Cassandra (aka Cass, Big Mama Cass, Cassalicious and Babe). Cassi and I have had the type of friendship that had it been a romantic relationship, we would have met, gotten engaged on the first date, and been married within the month. Yes, our friendship has been that intense. Here's my list of things I adore about her:1. She is an amazing mother and loves being a mom.
2. She is an "over-sharer"! And by that I mean she is an open book and isn't afraid to share all aspects of her life with her loved ones.
3. She loves me.
4. She is ridiculously passionate about EVERYTHING!
5. When she wants something, she goes out and gets it, accomplishes it, masters it, or makes it hers.
6. She's friggin' hilarious.
7. She is one of the most compassionate women I've ever known.
8. She introduced me to the love of my life.
9. She is a fantasticly (yes, that's a word), amazing photographer and I dream of being as good as she is.
10. She is a great listener and offers great advice for all my woes!

And there you have it... just a few of the reasons I love these girls and can't imagine my life without them!
