Weekend Recap In A Large Nutshell

No shit, this was my fortune from Panda yesterday. I wonder if it was planted because it was Valentine's Day, or if it just so happens to have been random. Funny in any case. And it surely did not come to fruition! Although, I did get a "happy valentines day" text from a cute boy out of the blue...
After being gone for an entire week, all I wanted to do over the weekend was chillax. No going out, no spending money, and no excitement! I think I did a pretty good job of sticking to my guns on that one! On Friday night I stayed home and tried to work for a little while. I ended up going to see my parents (because I hadn't seen them in over a week) and hung out with them for a bit. My mom took a nap on the couch (cuz that's what she does every night from 8-11 PM) while my dad and I watched the news and the Jazz game. Super exciting stuff, y'all!

I ran around with my mom on Saturday afternoon and did our usual errands and lunch routine. We stopped over at my grandparents' house to say hi and I gave my grandma her B-12 shot. As we were leaving my grandma said she needed some help vacuuming... so an hour and two paper-towels-soaked-with-sweat later, we were done. Next time she needs help I'm telling everyone to leave the house so I can clean it naked. I get too hot wearing clothes and it's the only way to go... cleaning... naked... try it.Later that evening I went over to Noelle's new apartment *ahem* {shoebox} ahem*... Rose, Toni and Kasian came over and we cooked dinner and watched movies. Oh, and we got custard from Nielsen's... so yummy! It was the perfect low-key night. Just what we all needed.

On Sunday morning I got up and went to yoga. I met Auri and Noelle at the studio and we took the pranayama breathing class... and even though it wasn't an acutal workout, we all felt very refreshed afterward. From there I met my family for breakfast at a cute new diner up by my parents' house. Wasn't the greatest time of my life, but whatevs. Went to the library downtown for the first time after that and really enjoyed myself. I could get lost in there for a day or two! (That's Auri's new button... go grab it!)

Against my will I went out on a "blind date" Sunday evening. The dude Noelle is seeing wanted to set Toni and I up with a couple of his friends. I didn't want to go... wasn't in the mood, didn't have the time, or the money, but finally gave in. And you know what? The assholes didn't show up! Seriously? Noelle's date was sweet enough to pay for all of our dinners, but still. That is so not ok.

So that was my weekend in a large nutshell. Now I'm back in OKC (against my will). I've made it to the gym twice thus far and am planning on going tomorrow night as well. I need to find some energy to keep up with my busy life!
