Some Friday Randomness

I'm feeling very disconnected this week. I'm not sure if it's having been sick all week, not seeing very much of anyone, or just being overwhelmed, but it sucks.

Cassi is moving this week and I'm freaking out for her. I don't know why... maybe because it's such a big move... and I've only ever moved neighborhoods. She's moving across state lines here people! I wish her and the family nothing but good luck. Send good vibes their way.

If you said you wanted a copy of the birthday mix (of music, that is) I made, it'll be slow in coming to you... but it'll get there eventually. And if you missed me offering it up, feel free to call dibs on a copy. Just know it won't be coming to you for at least another week or two. Technical difficulties and being busy with more pressing matters has caused the backup.

I'm getting new ink next month. Squee! I'm a little bit nervous, a lot bit excited. Something to do with a flower... or something. I'll share with you when it's done. I need to do some research and get some examples of exactly what I want. The artist who's doing it is Sarah de Azevedo at Oni Tattoo, and she's absolutely amazing! Go check out her portfolio... it's awesome.

I stayed home from work this week... meaning, I stayed home from Oklahoma. It's been nice, but I have been so overwhelmed. I hate being sick. It blows. A lot. I'm finally starting to feel better today.

For my birthday and part of Christmas, my parents bought me a new desk and (sweet & cushy)chair for my home office. They were delivered yesterday and I need to get my shit together to get it all set up. I've gotta clean the carpet in the office because both dogs have peed and pooped in there. So annoying! Then I've gotta get the old desk and all the junk cleared out so I can set up the new stuff.

As of Monday I will officially hold Platinum status with both Delta and Marriott. I don't know if I should be excited or completely depressed. Platinum with Delta means I get upgraded to First Class every flight almost without fail... and Platinum with Marriott means I don't know what... extra points and all that jazz, or something.

Remember that really sexy jacket I told you about? Well it arrived at my house a few days ago... And I absolutely lurve it! It's just as sexy as it looks in the picture and it fits perfectly! It's surprisingly very warm so that's a definite bonus.

I'm kind of contemplating taking part in this Reverb10 thingy. They're already 10 days into it, so I'm a bit slow jumping on the bandwagon, but since I didn't follow through with the 30 days of truths thing, maybe I'll use a few of the prompts for posts. Or maybe not. Guess you'll find out later!
