HOLY SHIT, IT'S COLD!!! What the hell happened to the weather? It's freaking October 6th! I started out in 80 degree weather and came home to snow!
I always think it's strange how it's possible wake up in one city and end up going to bed halfway across the country. For instance, today I woke up in Jefferson City, Missouri, worked for a good portion of the day, drove halfway (ok, maybe 1/4 way) across the state, and am going to bed in Salt Lake. When I stop and think about it, that's a hell of a lot of stuff to accomplish in one 24-hour period. Yet, on days that I've absolutely got to get something accomplished (or multiple things, for that matter) there simply aren't enough hours in the day. Weird.
This is from Geninne's Art Blog... The woman is amazing... Go check her out! There's something about this picture that I absolutely cannot get enough of. It's gorgeous!
So, this is kind of an RTT post, but I didn't get around to writing it until today. Whatevs. This week has been so freaking unbeliveably busy, my head is spinning. My work life has made a complete 180 and it's fantastic. I forgot what it was like to use my brain! I know I mentioned it before, but I can't begin to express what a welcome change this new assignment is for me. I get to work with some pretty amazing people and I've learned so much in the last two weeks, I haven't quite processed it all yet!
If you can guess who this is, I'll give you a dollar.
Have I mentioned how much I miss my man lately? If you're sick of hearing about it, skip this section. I'm still pissed he ended up moving further away from me, instead of closer. Life is just plain unfair sometimes and I feel like nothing is going my way in my personal life! Trying to figure out a time when I can fly down there to visit him is proving to be a problem. He doesn't get any time off because he's new on the job and his work schedule is such that he has rotating days off. That means his "weekends" very rarely coincide with mine and I'm not sure how long it's going to be until we see each other. It's kind of freaking me out.
Make sure to mark your calendars for this Sunday! It's time for the Urban Flea Market! Jess and I have so many things to get finished before we open our booth on Sunday, I hope we get them all done! We are going to have some really awesome stuff for sale so I hope everyone is able to come out and support the event! Pass the word along! Remember... the first three people to tell me they heard about the market from my blog get a free book thong!
